I keep a pack of these and a pack of the BBQ Beef ones in my vehicle as emergency chow in case I get snowed in or whatever while traveling. They've got a ~3 year shelf life, but I replace them every year and eat the old ones after I rotate the new ones in. Just a little peace of mind. Good enough to fill your belly in a pinch.
