A lesson on how to transition from rhythm to solos. In this lesson, I cover several techniques that will help you bridge that gap to make your solo breaks more effective. Typically, the format of bluegrass style tunes alternate between verses and solos so pickers should have a few ways to make the switch between rhythm and lead playing. In this lesson, I cover several techniques that I use to achieve a smooth transition from playing chords to taking a solo.

Those aren't octaves, they're unison notes.
