Brief overview of the Next HYDROSTOP by Danco

I have this problem with unfiltered water in my guest house bathrooms. I have a problem with running toilets because the flappers get sediment. I’m often cleaning the tank but also the flaps get stuck on occasion. It’s an ordeal to manage. Would you recommend this alternative for sediment buildup? Would sediment build up inside? I wonder. Thank you for the video.

I just checked the seal on this toilet and it is clean. The problem with the older ones is that they are rubber, and sediment sticks to them. The one in this video is silicone and it appears that sediment doesn't attach to it.

Did you mention that this system adds a little more pressure/force to the Flush? 🤔🤔.. Wish You spoke up a little lounder so your words can be properly heard, I am On Max On KZbin and PC Volume still can't hear you. Anyhow, looks like it only Flushes halfway? It doesn't empty the whole reservoir like the Traditional Flushers/Flapper Systems? My Toilet already have low Flushing Power/Pressure. Requiring more water if tougher flushes are needed.

It doesn't necessarily Add pressure, it merely allows all of the water to flow through the tank and toilet all of the time/duration that the valve is open. Whereas a traditional flap only let's all of the water flow only in the beginning of the flush, and then as the flap starts to close, it adds restriction to the flow because it is essentially covering the hole as it lowers. Um not sure what's wrong with the volume, I've played it several times and can hear it fine, and haven't heard any other complaints. But I'll try to speak louder the next time.

If you are having issues with water flow inside your toilet, there are a few things to consider. 1. How old is the toilet? Some times really old toilets can build up scale inside of the down tube which is located in the rear of the bottom of the toilet. You know, at the back of the bowl. Scale can restrict flow, especially if it is a lot. But this is not a common ordeal, unless you have Hard Water. 2. Typical toilets work off of gravity, so you can buy a higher pressure toilet. Kohler calls theirs Power Flush. They run about $140 and up, depending on the options etc. That is different than a No Clog Toilet, which starts at $200 and can go up to the $1,000 range.

Oh, as far as all of the water draining, yes a majority of the water does go out of the tank when you flush it. I stopped the flow by pushing up on the handle, so the noise from the water wasn't as bad/loud. Although all toilets do have about an inch of water in the tank because of the flap/valve being up about that high.
