The irony of the Danco HYR460 is that it's essentially the Danco HYR270 with a fill valve tossed into the kit. That fill valve increases the cost of the kit by only $2.00, totally implying that the fill valve isn't a quality fill valve. Fortunately, the fill valve and flush valve are independent from one another. From what I can tell from reviews and such and from your video here, the flush valve, the Danco HYR270 standalone product, is pretty decent so it may just be less of a hassle overall to get the Danco HYR270 flush valve and a quality fill valve separately. I wouldn't put much stock in the performance of what comes down to being a $2.00 fill valve.

Toilet water conservation is important. The only application I know of w/o moving parts is a brick.

What's the warranty on these? Seems like three months should fall under mfg warranty. Also, are you on well water? Have you had your water tested? Seems like pure water shouldn't make rubber swell, right? Perhaps a tiny dab of silicone grease could also help prevent that little pin from sticking.

Danco sent me replacement rubbers. I have two of these that have been working flawlessly for just over a year now. I'm on town water. They have been tinkering with the water for a few years now. My estimates are with 2 adults we are saving 4 m3 of water every two months.

Dude. This was three years ago. As it turns out...don't expose the rubber parts to vinegar or petroleum lubes. Danco sent me 6 replacement parts. It's been fine since.
