The National Guard was ready & waiting on Jan 6th 2021. Acting Secretary of Defense, Christopher Miller was in the chain of command ; justvbelow President Trump. Miller had a memo ftom.trumb just befire Jan y, to leavevthe demonstrators alone , by the National Guard. Miller was another one that totally screwed up.

Lie. It is on record that Trump authorized the use of the Guard upon the request of the DC Mayor. However, on J5, the DC mayor withdrew her request for the Guard. The Congressional leaders, Pelose and the Senate Majority Leader, who are ultimately in charge of the Capitol Building security, also failed to request the use of the Guard on the Capitol grounds. Conveniently, Pelosi had her daughter film her exit from the Capitol building.
