3 months ako nag intermittent fasting 16:8. From 80 kilos down to 72 na ngayon. Hindi pa ako nag 100% keto pero sinimulan ko ng mag bawas ng rice tsaka grains. Tapos inom rin ng green tea❤ worth it yung sikap...yung mga pananakit ko sa likod...nawawala na. Wala akong iniinom na gamot. Lifestyle tsaka diet talaga.

I eat high carb meals and combine it with the OMAD lifestyle. I now have subclinical hypothyroidism from years of dieting (keto,hcg,South Beach,etc) and taking everything that has the word slimming slapped into it. My metabolism slowed down and now Im bringing my metabolism back up through eating mostly plant based nutrient dense food and 30min to 1hr home exercise. To cut the story short, my body weight and body fat percentage is steadily going down. Its in a slow pace, but I learned to be patient and started loving my body wherever I am in my journey. Im glad that I dont need to go on keto to be achieving my results.

Avoid na lang siguro ng processed foods, corn syrup sweetened foods like juice drinks, softdrinks, etc., beer, white sugars o kahit na brown sugar. Pwede naman magkape na walang asukal o coffee mate. Change white rice to upland red or black rice that are non-gmo and no factory chemical pesticide, but limit to 1 cup per meal, exercise at least 30 minutes a day, no skipping of meals but at least give 4 hours interval fasting in-between meals

I am at my 18 days of keto and I was 78.9 kilo but know I'm 72.1 and I do keto and fasting at the same time. Morning keto coffee amd at 2 pm saka lang ako kakain. Yung mga sumusunod na oras ay hindi na ako gutom. Works for me

my views on keto. Do keto diet if you have normal creatinine (blood chem), BUN if mataas don't instead of keto do low carb na lang around 90grams carbs minimum per day. Higher is better. Kung mataas na yung creatinine mo at nag keto ka meaning maximum of 40 grams of carbs, problema nun tataas lalo creatinine mo which will lead you to CKD. Mine tumaas after doing keto kaya hinay hinay lang ako dyan.

Huwag mong pagsamahin ang carbs (lalong-lalo na processed carb) at taba kapag kumain ka. Ang carbs naman ang nagpapataas ng cholesterol kapag sinamahan mo ng taba.

Pagkain at nabubuhay po ang cancer cells sa carbs or sugar pero hindi po ito nabubuhay sa ketones. So kung tama po ang kinakain sa keto diet, anti cancer din ito. Plus kung sasabayan mo pa ng fasting (madali lang po kung nag ke keto ka) especially dxtended fasting to trigger autophagy, i be breakdown nya ang mga old, damaged, infected cells and convert to amino acids. So, pano ka mag ka ka cancer.

Nag keketo na ako for 1 month palang and nag loose na ako for almost 9KG. I started 67kg, now 58kg na 😁 effective tlga sya kng sabayan mo ng interminent fasting and SELF DISCIPLINE. 😁 I've been kicked out on keto once on my 2nd week of diet pero na back on track naman agad. thank God!

So everyday kumakain ako ng first meal ko around 1pm (meat then vegetables) then last meal around 9pm (more meat). between meals nag cocoffee ako or tea. Fave meal ko, adobo, chopsuey, pakbet, tuna, eggs. Etc.. madami kang ma kakain na filipino food pag nag keketo bsta avoid lng ng harina, sugar and RICE.

Whatever works for you, just do it.. But the thing is, it should always be balanced, if we just know about the balance nutrition which is very easy to do.. No need to be deprived, you can still eat your fave food once in a while.. Still eat anything in moderation, you dont have to eat less, you just have to eat right..😊

The dietitian needs to do keto. Whatever diet this dietitian is doing, it's clearly not helping her. The keto guru gave shallow explanations. Sayang Yung airtime. No mention of insulin resistance and why keto diet improves health by reducing overall blood insulin levels.

"Diet" simply means one's food intake first and foremost. It does not really pertain to weight loss, medically speaking. Inassociate lang naman ang term na diet sa weight loss nung nauso ang mga FAD DIETS. And yes, may mga studies naman talaga that ketogenic diet has good effects, especially for epileptics and in the short to medium term weight loss (and I would not discredit that- in fact there are doctors who recommend this dietary lifestyle), PERO hindi pa siya proven on the long term run, if it's safe on diabetics and what not. So what is recommended is still having balanced diet. ;)

true yung mga endocronologist(diabetes doctor) mas gusto nila kumain ka ng konti rice at sabayan ng insulin/metaformin.. kaya magiging dependent at aasa katawan mo sa gamot imbes na labanan/reverse ng katawan mo yung sakit.. eh di more profit sa company at medical field nila kasi bibili ka ng bibili ng insulin at meds haha.. mas ok talaga pumunta na lang sa nutritionist sila magbibigay ng meal plan sau like keto diet

My brother, niece and myself lose almost 300 lbs dahil Sa keto. 62 na ako with zero medication. My brother dati syang obese almost 300 lbs. He lose 120 lbs. at masayang masaya sya. We get complex carbs from eating lots of vegetables. Ako naman 190 lbs. to 125 dahil din sa keto. 40 years akong trying to lose weight and Sa ketogenic diet lang ako pumayat. Sa ngayon I’m not in ketogenic diet anymore but still in low carb high good fat. I eat less than a 100g of complex carbs at nag fafasting ako- 16-8 and still maintaining my healthy weight.

My husband and I are doing keto. I lost 12 lbs agad in 2 weeks. true Keto diet is good fats hindi puro karne or puro processed fats like bacon. Dapat eh good kinds of fat like avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, MCT oil and butter. Need lang after achieving your goal weight, go back gradually to balanced diet. Saka, one common mistake ng tao is sinasabi you don't have to count the calories in Keto. That's not true. You have to count calories and balance the protein and fats and carbs sa meal plan mo for the day.

Di nag a update ng latest studies ang dietician. Kasalanan din ni Ancel Keys. Ipinalabas nya sa studies nya na ang nag ko cause ng cvd ay animal fats (saturated). Mula ng inilabas ang food pyramid, lalong dumami ang obese at may metabolic diseases. Napatunayan ng mga nag review ng studies nya na mali ang ginawa nya.

the high cholesterol..the longer you live.... i believe, basta maganda lng ang circulation ng dugo mo...exercise the best, dapat siguro mag aral pa ang tao sa mga makabagong kaalaman ngayon,nag iiba na din ang klaalaman ng tao..not to depend on a book... na binabasa pa ng lolo ng lola ko...

These aren't just dependent on books, these are evidence based. Matagal na pong napatunayan that the higher your cholesterol is (or should I say, "bad cholesterol" kasi may good cholesterol din naman), the higher the risk of heart issues. BUT to be fair, ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting are good in the short to medium term weight loss (and I would not discredit that), pero hindi pa siya proven on the long term run, if it's safe on diabetics and what not. ;)

For me, it's the opposite way. Before I have bowel movement problem like i pooped every other 2-3 days but when I start doing keto diet , my bowel movement is now regular which is a good thing for me

I'm doing keto for a year already, eto daily kinakain ko, isang malaking bowl(5-6 cups) ng green leafy salad with olive oil, 1 pork chop or kung chicken 3 slices or kung beef isang malaking slice, then 2 kutsarang virgin coconut oil. Anong masama dyan sa kinakain ko na yan??? Ifelt 10 years younger after 1 year of keto, Im more happy and focused, nawala constipation ko na 20 years ko ng dinadamdam, I have a bad back to the point na hindi ako makutolog ng patagilid, never na akong ng papalpitate. try nyo muna kase bago kayo magcomment.

More healtier syempre! But eat good fats like avocado, olive oil. Coconut oil, good cheese. More green veggies! Nutritionist and doctors were taught in school the wrong way... They themselves are sick, processed sugar is so so BAD!!! Should not be mixed with fats. Matatanggal mo pa maintenance mo. Ayaw ng mga doctors and big pharma yan. Actually fats can make you feel full fast, so you wont eat a lot, need to eat more greens (salads). Eggs, white meat. Research!!!
