Was watching it run after the new carb install and thought the same thing, is it running on both cyls... it was like an air pump shooting back through the carb. This is why you put a drop of loctite on the butterfly screws when you reinstall them! That looked like a wheel barrow tube in that rear rim too, I changed a wheel barrow tube a few days ago and it looked about the same size. Very good educational vid bro! 👍

Several years ago I worked in a place that recapped tires. Mainly for big rigs. Sometimes we would get in some rusted up tire on a rim kind of like what you had. The company had machines that would take the tires off. But people like you and I are not so lucky. What works for me is to wait, if you can, for a Hot dry day and set the tire on some concrete and let it bake in the sun. The rubber gets soft and is easier to work with. It makes taking the tires on and off a lot easier. Also we used a Dremel tool with a wire brush to clean the rim. They had some kind of spray sealer, something like rust oleum, that was sprayed inside the rim where the tube goes. They claimed it would stop it from rusting. The great brown nose, I mean Asst. Boss said, Rust will puncher a innertube. I bought a used mower and the guy gave me 3 carbs. all of them are from China. I screwed around with them for a few weeks. I got one of them to some what work. Briggs 20 hp opposed twin. I can get almost up to 3000 rpms. then it starts acting like it is flooding out. So I asked the guy at the local mower shop. He said that these carbs are junk. He said he could get them to work., most of the time. But many of them surge and do not ever run right. And they will not last. I gave $125 for the mower and Briggs wants, I think it was over $300 for the carb.

I bought one of those dual chamber foot pumps last year it comes in so handy when I'm at a customers house and he/she doesn't have power near the tractor..... I have a big compressor in my van, and a gas powered generator but it's so much faster with the foot pump, cause sometimes I can't get my van to the tractor sitting in the middle of their yard, and I can pump it up enough to get the tractor to my van for the rest of the inflation.

It's a lot of fun when the lost nut/screw/bolt does that to a drag car engine. Have you or anyone on your channel like Jason tried spraying or brushing Flexseal the black rubbery stuff on inside of tires? I was wondering if it seals dry rot. or at least help protect from getting leaks.

@@MowersNBlowers I watched my neighbor use the black spray on a corner peak asphalt shingle. It looks like rubber undercoating but not as oily and gets a hard shell even though it's still flexible. I'd guess the brush on would be better so you have more control of it.

@MowersNBlowers Жыл бұрын
Replace your fuel pump if it’s not pumping. Test your middle line to the fuel pump, is it pulsing? Check the hose for vacuum leaks. Try a gravity gas tank or soda bottle with gas directly to the carb, if it works, then it’s your fuel pump
