I am a doc. Totally beat down from fighting these corrupt companies. I have to fight to get someone a 30 year old generic drug. It’s a constant battle. We also are hounded to send medical records “for review “ all the time. None of this has to do with patient care. I am retiring because of this. I didn’t sacrifice to work for drug companies or insurance companies. It’s DISGUSTING!

Been a nurse for over 30 years. The medical industry and health insurance is not about caring for people, it's making money off people at any cost. Medical professionals take an oath to do no harm. I have drastically changed my diet to help with arthritis I have and do not go to the doctor and take no meds unless it's a dire emergency. I pray Trump and RFK change this to truly help all Americans.

They're not professional and the disease propagators for money. Most of them break the oath and the law on a daily basis and they don't accuse each other of committing crimes on the death certificates. Basically the medical profession are a bunch of people that take as much benefits as they can and tolerate as much as they can and then they're tossed. The ones that stay in are particular kind of strange people. I can't quite put my finger on it but some of them just seemed like they won't quit. I think they're dead inside or they're just very very special inside. They're extremely rare. If they're confident at this point I would be surprised. Play get just enough done so they don't get fired.

I can assure you this is the most important talk you'll hear from a pharmacy lab operator with Drug rep and drug Company inside knowledge, in your life on a large broadcast. Listen to what this guy has to say at least three times if you don't remember what he said the first time. Save a transcript of this talk and show it to your local politicians. Send it to your federal politicians. Show it to your pharmacist, and your prescriber and boss and especially human resources. Don't expect this guy to live much longer and or don't expect him to stay in business much longe. The fundamental problem is the top 10% of the employees in the United States. This is what they want. This is why they don't fight. Incentives causes results. The top 10% want this way because they feel that they don't then they won't get what they have and they know they don't deserve it. They don't care about you. They care about themselves. They make the US what it is. And this is why they don't deserve the compensation they get. They're part of organized crime. Compounding pharmacists cannot advertise. They basically cannot compete. If it's available from the drug companies they can't compete. It's loophole after loophole and only the wealthiest people can afford it the other people are people that prioritize quality Care. And they can't afford it either. There are not enough people in the medical system or resources to provide the care that this guest tells you of. He did excellent work in this program and there is so much more he can tell you.

As a Pharmacy owner, I can tell you, this man is 100% accurate and on point with everything he told you. If we could get rid of insurance altogether, medical care would drop in cost, and quality of care would improve. There would still need to be a safety net, which is above my ability to figure out a plan for, but health care and costs would improve dramatically.
@seanstreck3226

Give a 10% federal tax credit to all for medical expenses and then charge a medical service VAT that covers acute/catastrophic care and the poor. Then the middle and upper classes can budget their own regular care with pre-tax dollars. If medical spending is 4.9 trillion, a 10% VAT would cover $500 billion of that safety net.

What if a local pharmacies and private practices came up with their own local, private Safetynet system for their patients, such as payment plans, sliding scale, maybe a pool between there all of their patients or something. I think the national health insurance makes it really easy to hide fraud and other problems. The solution seems to be keep it local. Because, although it keeps the success local, it also keeps the problems local.

@@peachykeen7634 I pay a monthly membership to Primary Health Partners here in Oklahoma, who has their own lab for the basics, and their own pharmacy for the basics. The membership covers any time I need to see my Dr. Lab costs are VERY LOW, and they don't do insurance. Some labs are literally $4. A cortisone shot in a knee was $10. We dropped health insurance 20 years ago since we are responsible to take care of our own health other than injuries and such. I have seen other memberships like this popping up. I do believe things are headed that way. When the Doctors form such things, people will join, because wouldn't you rather pay $1200 a year to an actual person, a Doctor, than 10,000 a year to an insurance company, and still have to pay deductibles?

Sadly, most Americans can't afford good food so buy the processed foods which are cheaper and just easier. I grew up with home cooked meals everyday and people were a lot healthier then. They put things that are addictive in all our processed foods to keep that money rolling in as well. Get the money out of lobbying. It's nothing more than bribery. Make government do their job, like only allow one bill at a time, so they don't hide pork and vote themselves a big raise. Make sure that bills are submitted in a timely manner and limit the length of a bill so it can be read before voting on it. Just a couple of common sense suggestions that could curb some of the shinanigans.

Thank you for your service. I have great admiration for nurses. You're a special breed people. I did my first round of nursing clinicals in the 80s in my first semester of nursing school. I switched Majors to Preventive Health Care. My master's program was 100% research. Every class is mostly graded on the research that we did. Both in a search of literature as well as conducting our own. I did a internship at a local hospital and their Wellness program. That is the way that Healthcare should have majored in. But it doesn't bring in much money! I just recently learned that Physicians are typically not taught how to read and decipher scientific research! The best they do is read the abstracts in the summaries. These are often completely not supporting the actual methodology and body of the research in any way! No wonder it seems like patients in the traditional Healthcare System are being let off a cliff when it comes to managing chronic conditions! I'm also in my 70s now. I've avoided getting dependent on medication by asking my Dio what lifestyle changes I could make to manage the problem. I became predominantly vegetarian when in my 30s a developed high cholesterol. Within one month I Had It reversed in lifestyle changes alone! That's primarily a plant-based diet and increase aerobic exercises from 20 minutes to 30 minutes a day. Currently, I am a medical massage therapist practicing since 2008. Even in the massage field there are lot of political factions. We don't even have a legal definition for medical massage. Authentic medical massage is one of the most powerful tools we have for managing chronic pain. Often it allows people to avoid surgeries. I'm certified through the science of massage Institute established by Dr Ross Turchaninov. He is a surgeon, chiropractor, expert in massage, and he has 5 pH D's in related fields like exercise science. Science of Massage .com has a huge library of free resources in that field. Only the video library has a minimal fee for its maintenance. The only problem is few people know about it and the number of practitioners are relatively small.

49 yr RN here still working part time. Gestational diabetic, noticed rising glucose readings by accident years later. Had maintained my weight. Went to my good primary who was a board certified internist. My HB A1C was 6. Doctor assured me I wasn’t diabetic. I asked him how many pounds would it take to get there? Cared enough about this to consult and pay nutritionist out of pocket for consult. My last A/1C was 4.7. Noticed during my 40 years as an ICU nurse that smoking and obesity is what landed you in the ICU. I still work out consistently and consult a doctor not in the system whom I pay out of pocket for an hour to hour and a half of her time. Well worth it. Have a good primary now, but as you say, limited time to see him when I’m there. Great info here which I have passed along. I did a paper in 1975 while in nursing school about the cost of health care and hidden costs!

He's continues check ups every 6 months and he's doing great. I don't buy health insurance, I pay the doctor directly. I recently had minor surgery that cost $2500, but I found the same surgery paid by insurance was $14,000! If you want to lower the cost of healthcare, BAN INSURANCE, and doctors and hospitals would be forced to accept payment on the spot, so they would be forced to lower their prices to what consumers can directly pay at the time of service. What other product or service is paid with insurance? You don't go to the grocery store and pay with grocery insurance.

@iss8504
@iss8504 Ай бұрын
That may or may not work. Many doctors have contracts with insurance companies that make it illegal for them to offer a non insured person the same services for the insured price. I have had this issue before, esp with dentists. They have a book price that nobody pays except non insured. If you can find an independent doctor in a practice privately owned, they can still cut a deal. But not the practices owned by hospitals, and most of them are now. When my dad was in practice, 80% of the practices were private. Now maybe 10% are and the admin requirements, thanks to big insurance , makes it very difficult to practice privately now unless you are in a really big practice. The e record software is so expensive, it does not pencil to go on your own.

That's "neoliberalism", aka rebranded fascism. ARTICLE: PRIVATIZATION IS AT THE CORE OF FASCISM “The first group of privatizations occurred in the first fascist nation, Italy, in the 1920s; and the second group of privatizations occurred in the second fascist nation, Germany, in the 1930s. Privatizations started under Mussolini, and then were instituted under Hitler. That got the fascist ball rolling; and, after a few decades of hiatus in the wake of fascism’s embarrassing supposed defeat in WW II, it resurfaced and then surged yet again after 1970, when fascist forces in the global aristocracy, such as via the CIA, IMF, Bilderberg group, and Trilateral Commission, imposed the global reign of the world’s main private holders of bonds and of stocks: the world’s aristocrats are taking on an increasing percentage of what were previously public assets." "Only, this time, it’s called instead by such names as “libertarianism” or “neoliberalism,” no longer “fascism,” so that only the true-believing fascists, the aristocrats, will even know that it’s actually fascism. It’s their Big Con. It’s their Big Lie. Just renaming fascism as “libertarianism” or “neoliberalism,” has fooled the masses to think that it’s pro-democratic. “Capitalism” has thus come to be re-defined to refer to only the aristocratically controlled form of capitalism: fascism. The ideological battle has thus apparently been won by a cheap terminological deceit. That’s all it takes for dictatorship to be able to win.” “The core of fascism is the idea that there is some elite, whether ‘Aryan’ or ‘chosen by God,’ or otherwise, who should run things, and that everyone else exists in order to serve that elite. Inevitably, this official elite consists of the people whom the powers-that-be assign as constituting the owners of almost everything that’s valuable. Increasingly, things become those people’s private possession - even what was formerly a public asset becomes now private. Beaches become private. Schools become private. Natural resources become private. It’s not just the art that was stolen by the Nazis and privatized to them and/or shown at museums that they control, which becomes private; it’s whatever the elite want to have, and to control: it’s all now private. That’s the fascist ideal.”

Thank you for bringing this to light Tucker. I had to have my foot and leg reconstructed almost 10 years ago. I broke my foot, but my primary care doctor didn't catch it... 3 years later and 10 orthopedic surgeons later, I find out my foot became necrotic and nothing could be done. Self referred myself to Mayo clinic and found a surgeon who would take me on to fuse my foot and ankle and try to save my foot. I went into the surgery knowing amputation could be on the table for me. Got a pre-approval from my insurance to cover the surgery. After the fact, my claim was denied because my surgery was performed in the wrong building at the hospital. I fought the denial... nothing came of it and my bill went to collections. I had to have bone grafts, tendon lengthening, bolts and screws placed, and over 6 months of appointments. The bill was a cool half mil and that was 10 years ago. This just confirms what I and other Americans have experienced.

I am so happy to see this interview out here, and whichever party can capture this issue, sacrifice the capital machine of invisible predatory industries and show fidelity to our human right to be healthy will earn all of the trillions back in respect, loyalty and, ultimately, votes.
