The worst thing about this film is that all the major scenes weren't actually shot in Brighton. Eastbourne bloody pier! Locations let it down big time, very disappointing indeed.

i dont get all the moaning about remakes, i like watching a new take on older films, ive seen both and i loved them equally, the remake is a little bit slower and harder to get into ( for the first 40mins or so) but the final scene is done 10 times better in the remake and makes the film very worthwhile. excellent films, both of them.

I actually really enjoyed the movie. The big gripe I have about it though, is that the actors who play Pinkie and Rose were far too old

The film’s well acted, well casted, stylish & intriguing, however the film’s unfocused, occasionally dull & lack of great reminiscence to the classic original version is poor. (56%) (3/5 stars) (mixed)

Good film, but not as good as the original (imo). Phil Davis was excellent, as always.

Just half watched some of it on TV...looks more like Eastbourne Rock to me. Looks like a Great Cast wasted in a poor script.

meh, i'd rather watch the original. i don't watch any remakes anymore out of principal, it just bloody encourages them
