I think, what will ultimately happen, is that dragonkind will live in a balance between order and chaos. Realizing that both sides are necessary elements of the world. Alex will lead the Aspects while Vyranoth will lead a new group of Incarnates. Order and Chaos, working together and balancing each other. Setting a new path and future for themselves and Azeroth.

I think one direction they could take Alexstrasza's story is her finding closure to every tragedy she's experienced, confronting the ghosts of her past if you will. The Dragonmaw clan, the loss of her concorts, etc. It might be an interesting questline, similar to the one where we find all the Blue Dragons.

I'm gonna throw a crazy idea out there. The cutscene makes me feel that Alexstrasza and Vyranoth have this long history with each other (besides being proto-dragons) It feels like the war of the dragons and primalists was a lot more eventful. Maybe Vyranoth was the original "Dragon Queen" and when the Titans came she was outright against them, declaring war. Iridikron took this chance and led her and the others to become primal incarnates. I have read he wanted the war to go on, but it didn't say if he started it (unless I missed something, please let me know) A real world example would be WWI where Austria started the war, but Germany was the one to really push it (possible inaccuracies, please let me know.) She has been less active than the other three so far in the story, maybe hinting at a more regal stance of old. I don't know, this may be my crackpot theory that is gonna be proven wrong in a couple months, but it is something to think about.

Now we're supposed to pretend like Alex did something oh so horrible in the past which also wasn't mentioned anywhere ever and don't forget, titans bad. Fucking lmao

I really hope Vyranoth will have a change of heart _and survive it._ Perhaps it's not just the fact that Iridikron becomes so twisted and atrocious that she decides to turn on him because she cannot abide his evil, but also maybe that Alexstrazsa dies so that Vyranoth can live. Or maybe she does something else, displaying a kind of earnestness and selflessness that Vyranoth did not think the Red Queen would, and she joins us. She doesn't have to be buddy buddy with us, it could be that after Dragonflight is done and the Primalist revolution is over, Vyranoth just leaves, content to have prevented Iridikron's vision, but still unhappy with the state of Dragonkind and she needs time to find out what she wants the future to be. Idk, I just feel like it's more interesting when complex villains such as Vyranoth come to be and don't die but rather stick around and change. The stories where someone is far too gone and unable to see reason so we have to kill them are the usual routine of WoW, it would be nice to have an antagonist who sees reason and turns on their former allies for a good reason, without becoming friends with the good guys nor staying a threat to the world.

See, this is so great because it's something that will be revealed in a book later this year (Vyranoth's and Alexstrasza's friendship) but, for once, they have put the key points into the game. Really goes to show that it's quite an easy thing to do if they want to. You don't have to put the full story of the book into the game, but just the key points that are necessary for the story, the rest can be supplementary that people can read if they want to. Imagine if they had done this for War Crimes, or the Sylvannas book... Hopefully we get more of this going forward!

Theory: Here is a fun speculation for the dragons. Originally the dragons are evil and came from the void.(D&d reference, all the colored dragons are evil/ metal dragons are good, that wow is based on.). The titan experiments made some of them good. The Evil/void dragons or Proto dragons find a way to dispel the titan changes on the "converted"/ good dragons. That is what turns them into the evil from; Cromie = drank cromie, Nozdorm = Nerzom, and finally Evil Alextras that is prophesized to fight resurrected Tyr. Cheers!

One thing I've noticed is that the Aspects are all being or have been replaced, except for Alextrasza, and I find that interesting. Even Nozdormu has his Murozond side. In the Blue Dragonfight quest line, there is the "Memory of a Sister's Betrayal", and the image is Alextrasza's. So I think 2 things are possible here. 1) She's the good guy we always thought she was, and comes around to save her friend, but has to see the Titans weren't as great as they claimed, or 2) she's Titan all the way, and loses everything. Either way I think she'll be replaced somehow before the New Aspects can reclaim their power. Or something like that.

Well, I wouldn't say we've been fighting on the wrong side. While the egg- altering- thing is bad, the Primalists aren't much better either. Remember how they tortured mages in the Azure Span, simply for using arcane magic? That's a warcrime, and now they threaten the new world tree and the future of the night elves. I don't see us joining the Primalists. What I could see happen is Alextrasza and Vyranoth finding common ground.

whats interesting is, that at 6:28 raszageth says to alexstrasza "you betrayed the world that gave us life". which would be azeroth. if that was true and meant literally then there are major plot twists on the way. up until now we believe the titans to be protecting one of their own from harm. but it seems they are only protecting a prize they won. this is further emphasized by what iridikron says at the end of the doti dungeon about the titans coming back to reclaim their prize. not that this would lead to enticing story telling. it will probably go up in a puff of smoke like the old gods finale but at least there is potential.

Also hard to be sure if the aspects would ever diverge from the titans plan.Seeing as how they are beings of order themselves. It kind of falls flat if they say something like.. "Oh we won't be doing what the titans has planned for us. But we'll still use their magic. Squatt in their facilities. Use their constructs." Would really fall flat.

Here's what I got out of this: - Vyranoth (understandably) angry about the eggs forced into conversion by the Titans. - Alexstrasza apologetic about it - Vyranoth not accepting apology (also understandable) But what boggles my mind is that no one is bringing up the fact the primalists are now doing the very same thing Vyranoth was just angry about. Seeing proto dragons forcibly converted into primalists makes Vyranoth's grievances seem hypocritical to me. I understand how she would be mad at the aspects, but why make that statement knowing full well that your own followers are doing to very same thing?

It would be cool if it transpires that Iridikron was a conduit for Neltharion's corruption. We see now that long before the War of the Ancients, Neltharion was independently calling upon the void, but his ultimate corruption wasn't until about 10,000 years after the fall of the Incarnates. Perhaps Iridikron, imprisoned in the vault, could still hear and even commune with the void as Vyranoth could hear Alexstrasza, and he influenced Neltharion's vulnerability to the old gods by whispering to him through the earth. Neltharion having opened the door, Iridikron crept it wider and wider to let the old gods in.

Hmm... I'd imagine she may not be corrupted by the void but maybe... the light gets invovled? Unless she gets burned by shadowflame and from that the void drives her mad preying on all her failures and fears? If she does fall though and perhaps gets a new form only Malygos would of lost his mind and never taken a corrupted form. We'll see though, could be wild seeing if she falls to corruption and how, I just have this feeling it'll either be the light who does to her what Xera tried to do to illidan or Fyrakk's shadowflame hits Alexstrasza at one point.

Quick question, did the proto dragons and galakrond even exist prior to Wrath? I don't remember everyone yelling at blizzard for retconning dragon lore then. I don't see why adding some new dragon lore is such a big deal. Yeah, I get how this ancient dragon war being unmentioned is kinda weird, but in the same time the only dragons who remember it and are alive are the Aspects. My guess is they made a pact to keep this war forgotten given they were rather traumatized by it.

I think Alexstraza is gonna "betray Tyr" because he might've been responsible for Galakrond and therefore the death (and presumably undead) of her brother Dralad. Like they hinted in the Renown Quests were players go visit his personal vault.

Wild theory: in order to get Tyr's memories, Alex gives up her life, the dragons learn about how Tyr used them, they get pissed and turn on the Titans and while they might still protect Azeroth, they won't do it per the Titan's plans.

What is really well done in this expansion is how they show both sides. I am not saying that the incarnates are innocent or anything, but showing their perspective does do alot for them as characters. The last 2 addons where rather weak in terms of writing in my opinion, this is the first where I am actually curious how the story will continue.

That scene was refreshing, but it just reinforces the feeling that Alex's character has just been completely dumbed down. Just regret after regret, weakness after weakness. Another character being ruined I feel like. However, it does set up the future that the void showed Tyr that revealed Alex will betray Order. If she regrets allowing Order to afflict their eggs, then she could very well turn on them.

what if the purpose of sargeras plunging the sword into azeroth was to help break the cage/machine that is holding the elements trapped inside azeroth or if aka Azeroth is an elemental titan or something similar or maybe just its own entity. but what i do know is if the elements are helping the incarnates then the elements do not agree with the titans, and they are in league with other forces as well. *the incarnates are getting there powers from the elemental lords or elements they were given to them, i just dont know how yet*

At this point i say let the dragons settle it between themselves. I find it hard for anyone to have any real skin in this game whats so ever. Preferably in a steel cage match. But as far as things go for the incarnates considering how they treat their servants i imagine they don't have much planned other than a big giant flex on all the denizens of azeroth.

That the Titans/Tyr were experimenting on their eggs.. After they defeated the Old Gods and all their armies and the sealed away. They left to let life flourish on its own. The only interference the Titans interfered in life on Azeroth was when to empower the original 5 because they showed qualities never seen before in any proto dragons. That Neltharion managed to create another brood of dragons. With bigger ease, all the while struggling with creating the chromatic Dragonflight.. both of them bred for the same purpose… Those dumbass things Maybe stop being a damn shill and look at the underlying problems

I hate this, i'm so sick of the "titans aren't as good as you think" narrative, i've fought against the other sides, i've fought elementals, chaos, shadow, etc the titans ARE the good guys, i'm sorry your eggs were "warped" not to be mindless killing machines like the rest of azeroth was before titans brought order. I hate the whole "unreliable narrator" too, blizzard writers aren't good enough to pull that off they literally just want a reason to retcon the classic lore. Also lets be hoenst they're just setting up the girl dragon baddie for redemption, we all know it's illegal to have woman to be evil, hence why we never saw Raz in human form. Blizzard is just going to try to suck up to the anarchists' new generation that think any order and law is bad cause it means you can't just be a selfish monster.

So i had this thought and perspective for a while and I'll share it: The primal version of the D5 (black, red, green, blue, yellow dragons) defeated Galakrond. Proving that they are strong, which peaked the interest of titans. The titans may have considered them great guardians, meaning they don't have to intervene directly in Azeroths natural cycle, as the dragons can take care of any un-wanted appearances. So they reached out to the D5 and 'empowered' them, and their kin. Here is my thought though: why empower proto dragons when they just showed you that they can become strong? So i interpret this as more of a form of control. Let us "empower' these dragons so we make sure they always stay on the titan side. Titan logic: Any other dragon that does not want to be changed needs to be dealt with, as they are a possible future liability like Galakrond. As so they waged a war where eggs were transformed and the unwilling proto dragons slayed. As harsh as the word seems, to me this is genocide of dragon kind. The primal incarnates were right to rebel and they even matched the 'empowered' dragon aspects. They proved that they are strong enough, but this was just a confirmation to the titans that they are an uncontrollable liability to the overall plan. Now in this situation, it makes more sense for Neltharion to go mad, he knew the truth and was not resolute in his duties, therefore becoming weak to Old god influence. The same goes for Nozdormu, it becomes more easy to see why he becomes Moruzand (among other things, the realisation and weight of the guilt of purging a dragon kind for the titans). And now Alextrasza, she knows as well and feels guilty about it, but it is what it is, she knows deep down that they are the ones that started this. Ysera though, she has no reaction to any of this.....maybe she was asleep during the purge =)). So we come to present day to the realization: titan empowerment didn't make the dragons superior, the incarnates individually seem stronger then the aspects, it made them control-able. So we are now, as the player, in a situation where we are trying to save this island from the incarnates, without the knowledge that they actually have a legitimate right to be there and we are kind of being in an unjust position as the purger guy. The dragons aspects are essentially using us the clean up their mess and wipe their wrongs. What would be interesting for me: have a public confrontation (in a raid or something) where all this info is spilled to everyone (we could kill iridikron but let Vyranoth live), make the dragons feel guilty for what they have done. Ebonhorn would become outraged when he finds out the truth and challenges the purpose of the aspects. Nozdormu snaps and we can have his story. Then you would need a reforming, you need a new guard to deal with the future. The new guard can be: Ebonhorn, Kaleg, Chromie, Daugther of ysera (ysera needs to tend to Nozdormu after we deal with him) and Vyranoth, maybe Alextrasza. This way you bring new characters and possible new stories with fresh perspectives and the old guard can move back and be in a more supporting role. All in all, what i find ironic is that the current aspects are actually using us in this situation the same way like Old gods would: deceiving. That's it, just wanted to share.

First of all, to call this brilliant is just wrong. If this is brilliant then the scale right now is so low and just nearly non existence. Secondly I agree that it is nice to get hints of the past but for me mostly only one thing gets cleared out with this, and this is that alex and the other aspects are just hypocrits nothing else and that they are active to recreating Tyr... that shows they have not learned or understand what wrong they did in the past (I think tyr is very PRO titan and was a major player in the doing back in the days regarding stuff that happens to the eggs). The cinematic is good and a step forward to the things we got back in SL. And so far I am really glad about the story but it is FAR faaaaaaar away from brilliance!

Harden never was nor has ever been a better player than D Wade.. Harden is a better shooter sure Dwade was a slasher and a mid game player. With that said he was much much better than Harden on D was a better finisher than harden was a better driver than Harden was far more clutch than Harden.

I’m not gonna lie I’m kind of on the side of the Primalists and this is the problem with the game entirely , you cannot choose which side you want to be on and I understand from a narrative standpoint why the game would do that but the problem is they present you story that clearly shows that you might be on the wrong ; side if you’re going to do a narrative that forces the player to be on a side then you can’t have it be so obvious that you are the bad guys from time to time because this whole gray area doesn’t work for blizzard because I don’t know how to make one properly and it looks like but the Titans did on many occasions was wrong

Also Aridicron joining the void or using the void it doesn’t actually make sense considering they are primal element dragons and they got mad when the Titans offered their gift and they said no and then they forced it so why would he except the void which is not a primal element so to me I know he’s desperate but it just seems kind of silly

Can someone tell me the voice actors for the Primal Incarnates? I didn't find anything about them on Google. Vyranoth voice actress sounds familiar to me and I want to know who she is.
