Throwing lineups is not just memorization it's BIG gamesense, lineups are hard to do because u gotta have the enemies not near you cuz ur basically a free frag while setting your lineup. So sensei basically calculates enemy positions and where they will pass or play from and chooses a lineup that is the safest to do. I tried it and enemies learn and guard your lineup spots lots of times, so I never use the same lineup thrice.

Quick pointer for Viper: The mollies don't do any extra damage if they are both used at the same time. So unless you are getting pushed, you can delay the 2nd one until the 1st clears and stall for even longer.

Was playing a match yesterday when I took out my molly and was setting up for a lineup, when a Cypher pushed me, and I panic moved left and right while crouching, swapped to the classic, proceeded to fire 5 or so shots missing 3 of them, then stood still and fired at him as he was reloading... and killed him. Cypher had mag dumped his spectre, all 30 bullets, from about 15 feet away and failed to kill me... I was at 54 health before he started shooting... I believe he hit me a total of 1 time. I just said "So ummm... Cypher" and he replied "ik" xD

Thanks so much! Mmm well if you’re doing similar things and trying them out you’ll just need to perfect timing of the smokes. I think that’s probably how I get most of my kills. If you’re using lineups the timing is extremely important as well since when I first started the timing was just wrong and enemies would either defuse it or get half and I would lose the round. Other than that the rest will come from the fundamentals of valorant which would be: movement, team communication and aim (I think, in that order)

Stop worrying about utility and just play like it's deathmatch. You need to get good at crosshair placement and winning fights until ascendant at least before you worry too much about comps and utility.
