for those of you concerned about the expressions- he WAS in severe physical pain while doing this because he had throat surgery but he cares baout the band so much that he still put his heart into this performance. his voice has recovered now. idk about you guys but i think its pretty amazing what he acheived

Josh Cave you have a point, I do scream to do covers infrount of my friends and to have a laugh and it does end up really hurting, I found that the best way to help it not hurt as much when you scream is to drink walm water, I know it sounds weird and tastes funny but it doesn't hurt or break your voice as much and it makes it easier...but each to there own

I suffer from severe mental illness and the connection of emotion the crowd manifests gives me goosebumps, and the numbness fades, and for just a bit I can feel for once. And it's a blessing now I have reassurance to think back on when my numbness returns i know I'm no longer a empty shell I'm not always this way. this beautiful connection of people gives me feeling and that alone I know I'm going to be alright... thanks oli and the rest of the set. This, at least for me, brings to Show how calm, meaningful and "non brutal" the message of most screaming Bands are. I thought that when I first heard their music and then I started watching recent interviews of them and I was completely chocked because you see Oli here screaming and giving it his all and then in interviews he is one of the most soft spoken and polite people I have ever heard. He has different opinions then most people but he still respects the other opinions. As well as the other members of the band.

+Bianca Armani It's a technique as natural as regular singing. You can destroy your vocal chords with regular singing the exact same way you can do it with screaming, if done improperly. :) Practice makes perfect and you can train your voice to be able to scream without pain.

As a screamer myself oli's technique is very unique and very straining on his voice, he was exhausted by this song as his voice began breaking so he began using his chords, not his diaphragm as a last push to get through, he succeeded but I really think he needed the long break he should had took before That's the Spirit. I'm glad he learned how to sing because I could hear his voice slowly becoming destroyed due to his screaming technique.

Thsts awesome man. I recently went to my first concert ever, and I loved it so much, it was amazing, something about it ignited and changed how I enjoy music in a hard to describe way, lol. And most of all, I got lucky enough to see Sleep Token for my first, so that was especially awesome.

the fact that he screams from his throat damages it. thats why it looks like he's in pain. (usually why they don't scream in their new music)

I miss this era and the early years of BMTH 😮💨 I saw them one of their first UK tours with Count Your Blessings and it was mad! 🤘 Almost a complete contrast to what they play now.

Cara, Oliver representa demais, mas é muito diferente do estúdio e ao vivo, ninguém consegue fazer nem drive, é 1 hora de show, ninguém tem garganta pra isso tudo não.

Tem ! Porque não se faz com a garganta ! Ele só faz em Studio porque já perdeu a voz . A técnica que ele deveria usar é bem difícil que é o falso + driver , e se forçar sai com a garganta . Aí a prega vocal vai embora . Foi o que aconteceu ! O máximo que ele vai aguentar nesse ritmo estourando é 2 músicas o resto do show sai uma bosta .

@@lacuna0486 na verdade oq ele faz é o Pig Squeal, essa técnica é bem fácil de fazer, mesmo se você não forçar pela garganta, ainda força bem a traqueia, por mais que alguns ENTENDIDOS falem que não, eu mesmo já estudei bem essa técnica e sei fazer sem forçar muito, mas sai baixo, se quer colocar potência, aí vibra demais a traquéia e vc perde a voz, a garganta até sangra.
