Nobody has mentioned that Dan can sing everything from Opera to heavy metal. He is the most versatile singer ever. He sings Angels We Have Heard on High in 4 languages! He sings Nessum Dorma and Phanton of the Opera beautifully! He is classically trained and works very hard on his voice. Plus his metal screams are fantastic! You should check out more of his covers.

I really like your reaction. I have the same opinion about covers like you and I can honestly tell that Dan Vasc is my favourite cover maker artist who did many covers extremely well and some of them even better than original songs. I have heard plenty of his songs and this guy could easily be a famous singer of some power metal band in 1980's. Unlucky for us, he was born many years later. ;)

I fell in love with the original by Amy Lee/Evanescence when it came out years ago. Heard many covers through the years that didn't do it justice. Dan's cover takes it to another level! Epic. He did the same with many other songs including the Sound of Silence. He did a cover of David Draiman/Distubed's version of the song. Was a powerful & haunting cover of the song. He did a great performance of the Star Spangles Banner too. Different but better than most Americans tasked with the job for the Superbowl!

Metal and rock covers are brilliant but you might enjoy also his softer songs. For me this cover just....ok.... I think, but im a huge Dan Vasc fan....HE IS AMAZING! you can listen other female lead vocal band he did :) !! My favorite are Sleeping Sun(Nightwish cover) and All I Need(Within Temptation cover), all of his music are just powerful and his vocal is insane!!!!! by the way best Bring Me To Life male cover are Bury Tomorrow and Daughtry version :))

Dude, you NEED to do Lzzy Hale feat. Amy Lee - „Break In“. I‘d personally listen to the quarantine recording they did in May rather than the studio version that just dropped - so much more powerful. But you NEED to see these two incredible ladies do their magic together!
