Watch his very first video. (Don't do a reaction, just watch.) As Dan himself says, "It sucks." He leaves it up on his channel because it proves that he didn't always sing as well as he does now. He took lessons and trained hard to get his voice where it is today. Don't envy his voice. If anything, envy his work ethic.

The production values, his camera presence, pretty much everything he does is 10,000% better now. When Dan sees a deficiency, he goes after it until he conquers it. That's what makes Dan, Dan.

Another terrific commentary. I think he tosses in some falsetto when he doesn't really need to because Adele uses that pretty lilting sound too. It's actually my favorite part of her singing. And he does it, I think, because she does, and because he can. 🙂

Really enjoy watching your reactions to Dan Vasc. He is truly an amazing singer and is a testament to hard work and dedication to his craft. I really like his videos that have him singing multiple parts at once. Like My Mother Told Me and Hallelujah for example. YES, this is one of Dan's great examples of vocal 'mix and match' - he's such a ham to listen to, surfing through all the different techniques, registers and ranges. I think he has so much fun doing that, that it's actually hard for him not to. And yeah, I've never been an Adele fan, but I'll listen to Dan singing Adele songs any time.

Great reaction! Dan has a video he talks about the 5 or so male artists he took the things from them that he wanted to work on and add to his repertoire. Also he says somewhere how he discovered his falsetto and worked on it. So his Vocals are very intentional ! Got to admire his hard work and the Results!
