Hey! That postcard of the old Sea World characters in happy harbor 14:39. I worked in the SW entertainment dept in 2005/2006. I was in the polar bear, Shivers, in that photo. That was our whole team. We even pulled managers in to get everyone in costume! What a great find. I have the original in my home. ❤

Yes, punch bowls are still being used🥰 Fill bunt cake pan with ginger ale and thin slices of oranges and whole cherries, put in freezer! When punch is ready, and before party, take frozen ginger ale out of freezer, and turn upside down to add to your punch into the punch bowl! The cherries will have floated to the bottom of the cake pan, and when turned upside down into punch, they will now be on the top😍 Very pretty, and when it melts, it adds to the punch a nice flavor, (not watered down if using water for ice ring), keeping your punch cool and refreshing!!!💟✝️ Love your channel Adam, and your Momma🌹🍃 < Suzanne

Another good one my friend's mom used to do when we were kids: Buy a gallon of lime sherbert, pour in three liters of 7-up. The sherbert creates a white-lime whip-cream type effect on the surface, and when you dip the punch laddle in and fill up the glass, it looks like you are drinking somethink magical. It tastes good too!

Adam that store reminded me when I was a youth travelling with my folks across the country and stopping at Stuckeys. They were the best at having quirky cheap souvenirs with your name on “toothpick” holders and “change holders” aka shot glasses and ashtrays. Thanks for taking us all back to a simpler time.

All 3 Hope Thrift stores get their merch and furniture from Disney and Universal Auctions every month. From Pins to furniture from the Resorts and the parks too! Clothing as well as other items they get from Auctions and lot buys as well. The Kissimme store isn't the biggest but it's the most organized. Nice haul! I'll have to do the Slurppie thing next year. Thanks for the Low cost review!

I love this video - it reminds me of the old school TDW vlogs where Adam wouldn't do anything particularly significant or noteworthy, just kind of hanging out going to the thrift store and getting a Slurpee. But Adam should maybe have bought a couple of those DVD's and VHS tapes as they're titles that are now out of print and aren't widely available on streaming services, like Major League and The Brave Little Toaster.

Ok, here is my favorite thing in the store (and I would buy half the stuff): "If you at first you don't succeed, don't sky-dive!" OMG... I will be saying this (every once in awhile, don't want to over do it!) For the rest of my life! Thank you Adam! (Your best in the haul (and the haul esp. the vintage post cards, was phenominal) was that book of Micky Adam stickers!)) Also, loved the Slurpee adventure. A super-duper good one, Adam-a-roo, who is Adam the Woo! (the comment is............ over) extra bonus comentation in the house(!): That your shirt matched the beautiful Dad Joke Slurpee just shows that it was meant to be. The extra bonus comentation is also, now over (as well).

Back in the mid 60s, a 7-11 opened up near me when I was a kid. Would ride my bike to the 7-11 and get a cola/cherry mix for 25 cents. It was Heaven to sip that concoction, under a shade tree, on a hot summer day.
