I’ve been looking for a suitable car for my wife , and I to drive for a few months now. I’m on a strict budget to find something because most of our monies goes to doctors, and insurance as my wife is in need of a kidney transplant. Most of my time is spent of Facebook marketplace, and it’s been a constant battle dealing with the scammers. They are absolute callous thieves. I’ve reported so many to facebook, and see that their listings are removed straight away, but just a few short listings away, I find the same listing from the same scammer, or from another scammer using the same details. It’s absolutely ridiculous that these callous pieces of shite 💩 feel it’s fine to do this. Hopefully some get caught, and get dealt with in a way that they never forget. Great video from yourselves as always 👍.

@@rocketscientist007 If you can't market your skill, learn a new skill. If nobody is hiring, start a business. It is challenging but a lot of the time you're only limited by the effort you are willing to put in. Some people know how to hustle, like the Mexicans on the street corners selling flowers to passing cars. The other day I heard about dog walkers that make 100k. Drive for Uber, DoorDash, Amazon etc. I realize some of these options aren't available in other countries but if you can scam people on the internet, perhaps you could get one of the many outsourced work from home customer service jobs.

I have a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country that my grandfather bought new. He passed away a few years ago at 96 but he was one of those people that put floor mats on top of the floor mats and yelled at me once for opening the sunroof because I'd let dirt in. The reason I'm writing this is that it has the rear entertainment system too and the plastic is still on the screen too!!!
@cs1375Ай бұрын
And because it's a 2006 Town & Country it's still worth less than 6k.

@courtney5796 completely agree. Those Stow & Go seats are amazing! Want to move people it works but if you want to put a ton of stuff in it just fold the seats away. I often use it to move stuff instead of my truck because it's inside incase there's bad weather, it's a much lower lift-in height, and at my local dump there's normally a fee if you go I'm a pickup and you always have to go to the commercial area but in a car,SUV, or minivan it's free and a much shorter line. I did have to replace the transmission at 110k and a few other small things. I just did the alternator and belt a couple months ago. It was going through coolant for awhile but I couldn't figure out where it was going. It even smelled like coolant when coming to a stop after driving on the highway. Couldn't find any leaks and the head gasket doesn't seem to be bad then all the sudden I wasn't having to add coolant all the time and the smell was gone! It only has about 135k on it so I don't think I'll get rid of it anytime soon. I like that gen better than the one that followed it and while I like the Pacifica, three of my close friends, who all have kids, have Pacificas, bud for my needs I don't see any reason to get rid of this one that I know the history of vs spending quite a bit more than I could get for this and not know if it was taken care of.

Had this very same thing happen a couple of weeks ago on BaT. I was one of the last bidders on a Suburban out west last month and dropped out when it got too high (and actually stuck to my budget). A couple of weeks later, "Lucia" reached out to me with news that the sale had NOT gone through. Truthfully, I told her that I'd had a couple of unexpected $$ car repairs in the interim and wasn't probably able to buy now. A week or so later, another very concilliatory email, wanting an update because she was "trying to ensure I give equal consideration to all interested parties". Right. BaT seller was aware by that time and BaT added to their investigation list.

About a week later, I get a second chance offer from Ebay (legit ebay). Buyer took the truck to the local DOT, and they failed the inspection saying the transfer case was out. Buyer returned it to the seller. I responded to the second chance offer saying I had to buy my wife a Subaru to get to college in the snow, and all I had was my original $500 bid. About a week went by without a reply. And then.... they accepted the offer. I had them put it in storage until I could make arrangements to pick it up. I still drive it to this day.

Hoping for AI to be the savior is wishful thinking, in my opinion. It seems more likely that AI will instead be the tool that scammers use to conduct greater schemes (fake images, fake videos, fake voices, etc.), and maybe AI tools to combat these new scams will come to fruition as well, but I do not see the situation ameliorating appreciably due to AI. The status quo will be maintained.
