Bringing Home The CHEAPEST Mercedes S-CLASS in the USA! How To Repair Collapsed Air Suspension W220

Here we go with Part II of rescuing the cheapest Mercedes S-Class in the USA! In the last video we took a look at a 2000 Mercedes-Benz S430 W220 that has been sitting for close to three years due to a collapsed Airmatic suspension system. The previous owner was done trying to fix it and wanted it out of the garage so he sold it to me to fix up and get back on the road. I didn't manage to get the car going in the last episode so I am back with Part II!
No, I didn't create an account at StanceNation, this car has a dead Airmatic air compressor. In this video I show you how to check the relay for the airmatic suspension and how to replace the Mercedes Airmatic air compressor to get your collapsed suspension functioning again. Both repairs are a simple DIY job on the Mercedes W220.
Once the car had a new compressor, it pumped right back up and drove down the road just fine. For the cheapest S430 W220 in the USA, it really is a very nice car. Almost all of the electronics work, AC works, starts and runs great, no check engine lights, and drives smooth and comfortable.
