This always takes me back to when I was a kid 40-30 yrs ago, when it came time to do big things like bringing the cattle home for winter & calving, my dad & uncles would help my gramp & other older farmers & vice versa, they would usually end it with potlucks, few drinks or coffee, music & some jigs in one of the farms kitchen or barn it was always so much fun & taught us kids about being great neighbors, community & how to pay it forward because you never knew when it will be you needing the kindness of others! 💚 🇨🇦

Hi Mike! I feed my cows some cake, cubes, or as I tell my wife candy for the cows every few days. They sure do love it, we can get them to follow us anywhere, especially when we start up the ATV's. It's always different each time you move the cows, sometimes it goes smooth and other times, well not so much. It was pretty good for you this time. Thanks for sharing, I hope everyone has a great week.

Its nice to have good neighbors to take the time out of their busy schedule to help another in need. We need alot more Michelles in our life. I had a rotten day today. I lost my 16 year old lab/chow mix Princess. She lived a long life. Seeing your video Mike brightened my day. It helped me forget for a few mins. Seeing Bean brought it all back.

I really admire u and Michelle for such a great job. It seems like it takes a good strategy to do this. I guess Hard Work is what it takes, despite the Weather and a good Round Up Partner. I Salute u both, I would Definitely be No Help at all I Do Not Think. I do hate those Cows that have to go to be turned into Beef Jerky, but all of them serve a Purpose. Bean is getting a little slow or is it that there is someone new there and he is Not sure about it? Thank u so much for sharing another Adventure with the Cows and Keep on Pushing!

Thanks for taking us along with you. I've only seen cows herded on old western movies. This was a treat for a city raised girl with country genes! Mama grew up on a farm in ill, hated it moved to L.A. California. I've always hated the city, the crows, the traffic, the very small housing lots. All of it im a country girl at heart. ❤️ I want to move to the country but at my age I'm afraid of falling ( i have balance issues), and not being found till long after I'm gone.

Mike... When you spead up away from Cracker Jack he gave you a look like "What's Up With That?" I was wanting some Cake. You need a loud speaker for the gater like the "Ice Cream Truck" then the cows would know when you have cake and they would really come running.

for your climate and feed/grasses (native not added by us) I would be looking at the red Angus x Scottish highland - hardiest of cattle with the highest food conversion factor which would suit your climate and grasses - this cross I believe the offspring are polled even if the bull is a highland and had to have it horns removed as a calf
