Ive been messing around with Unity for a few months. People do realize how much time it takes just get get a game to this state. The thrill of getting the next step of your game and coding to work is the best!

Before starting this project I had no idea how long most things take. I was honestly expecting it to take around a year, and here we are. It is truly an amazing feeling to see things come together and actually work as intended.

If you're gonna keep the heath-bars for enemies, would you make it were it decreases from the sides, slowly getting smaller with each hit? For bosses, the same format but the bar would be placed at the top of the screen instead. I guess if some players didn't want the health-bars, they could be turned of in settings. Rather you like the idea or not, I love the work you've made towards the game!!

I do like the health going towards the center idea, hadn't thought of that. Initially I had thought of putting the health bar at the top of the screen for the boss but I just copy and pasted the other health bar and it worked for now. Im still thinking about maybe no health bar for the boss at all times, but not sure. A setting does fix most issues with user happiness, so it will probably be a setting down the line. I've been doing good. Really busy with moving and working but I've been able to work on the game a little bit since the last time. It will still be a while before the next devlog, but it is coming

I'd really appreciate it if the audio volume was turned up on your voice because it's really quiet, just a suggestion for future videos. I really like the weather system idea you have! If in the final game you have dragon enemies, do you think you'd have them do an attack were they shoot a wall of fire and you the player have to dodge? If failure to dodge, you take a big amount of damage. How you mentioned plant enemies, will they have a mechanic were they spawn smaller plants enemies? Even though this might seem generic, do you think you'll have a boss with a dash mechanic? My idea is their would be giant rocks in certain areas were you have to position yourself, then dodge once he gets close. Once dazed, you will attack. The boss would have high health and not be ideal to attack when not dazed. If you come across funny moments when coding, can you include them in the video perhaps?

I often times struggle to find the balance between voice and other audio. I thought I got it right this video but guess not lol. I would love for the enemies, especially the final fights have enemies which have a ton of unique attacks and distinct personalities. So a fire wall sounds like a really good idea as does everything you mentioned. I actually had thought when I first started making the AI for the double headed plant creature to spawn buds that release the small flying plant enemy from either an attack or on death. Moving forward though I will most definitely add enemies that multiply/repopulate. Having the bosses require surrounding elements in order to make the fight easier is quite a cool idea. This time around I only had one moment where I dashed forward and fell right through the map, but I will keep in mind for future to add any potential bloopers at maybe the end of the video. The only thing is that I tend to only record things after they are tested so it's easier to edit afterwards, that isn't to say that funny moments can't happen at any moment. Always look forward for your responses.

Ummm, I don't think I can do that. It would be like making a whole new game. It can be a possibility way down the line though.
