There is a paint called “liquid mirror” that aims to creat a refelctible Chrome like surface. I think it would fit very Well if you plan to make another one !

I did have a look at that and may pick some up in the future. The real test of these pens was, quick and easy is it to just colour in a mini? Turns out the answer is very to both 😂

That Chrome effect pen works great as a base coat for color shift paint.

I've been using a liquid chrome marker to rim the thrusters on all my Gunpla for a couple of months now and I love the shine it gives as a extra level of visual interest to primarily boring grey cones

I watched a video recently where someone airbrushed Molotow Chrome affect on the AdMech helmets to get a super shiny smooth effect. Wonder if you can do that with an AK pen?

I think you definitely could, I’m going to be using the chrome pen as well as the gold and copper version for detailed work next week so we’ll find out 🙂

Sometimes i question my sanity on how scary some combenations of franzieses can be and then terminater and 40k is basicly the man of Iron but scarier and now i have nightmares because of you. Also i just began with Warhammer bit some of your tricks are helpfull to make my minis more unique thanks for that.

I actually used these chrome pens for parts on my Gundam. The silver EX Gundam marker is pretty shiny too. Molotow makes a finer point pen too I think.

Interesting idea, but I think spraying some blue and purple inks on the chrome would've really completed the look. Kinda like what you did in the end turnaround where its being lit by cool colors.

I did think about something kinda of like this but I was worried that it may dull the reflectiveness of the chrome because in real life it is reeeeaaallly chrome, hard to capture on film.

Try Ak interactive true metal, it's Metallic wax that you can polish I've been using it on my admech it's a proper game changer for Metallic IMO
