We just ordered the ovation 56 ex. We are so excited. Hopefully our quail hatching eggs will arrive just after we receive it. We’ve never hatched quail, but use our mini II advanced for our chicken eggs. We love the mini, so hopefully the ovation ex is just as easy and effective. Thank you for the humidity information. It should help us avoid tragic mistakes.

I put in the maxi II EX incubator a egges in a different ages, one of them was middle-aged and the other was at the beginning. My humidity rose to 52% after it was set to 42%. I think the reason is because one of the chicks hatched and others tried... and I prepared another place to receive the chicks. Which hatch so that the humidity that rises because of them does not affect the other eggs... but despite that, the humidity remains high... knowing that I opened the ventilation hole, but to no avail... so what should I do... please help... I do not want the embryos that are in the room to be harmed. Inside the new eggs.

How do you increase humidity? I could not find that information in your manual for Ovation 56.

Hi Ernest, you don't say which model of Ovation 56 incubator you have. This information can be found in the instruction manual for the 56 Eco on page 16, for the 56 Advance on page 16 and for the 56 EX on page 18. Hello, I have a Maxi II Advance, is there a way to upgrade it to have a humidity pump like the ex? Im aware that you are able to upgrade Maxi II eco to have the automatic turner like the advance but I can't find any information on humidity pump upgrades! Thank you

Hi, unfortunately you can't upgrade the Maxi II Advance to become an EX as they have different circuit boards. The Maxi II Eco can only be upgraded to a semi-automatic turner with the turning kit, it will not turn automatically, you have to do it manually. The turning kit turns the eggs all in one go without you having to take the lid off.
