Brioche Index- Learning brioche increases and decreases.

I have called this project Brioche Index because it’s setting up a good ground for understanding brioche 3 to 1 decreases and 1 to 3 increases.
If you’ve been intimidated by the complexity of brioche knitting this is you opportunity to learn!
I have made two videos already that teaches you the basics of brioche knitting: The Headband- • The Headband- or how t... which is knitted flat, and a the Two Color Brioche Hat - • Two Colors Brioche Hat... , which is worked in the round. If you’re really new to this technique they are both great to start with- to prepare your self for this one.

How do you knit a brioche knit increase? You do something special for the increases when you purl which leaves you with multiple dc colors on the knit row. How do you handle the multiple same color stitches on the knit row?

You just doggedly continue your bark and burps, your kits and yarn overs. don't get confused.

Oh no, I just realized I knitted a full row in LC when it should have been DC, it was in the left Slanting pattern repeat on Rnd 1 DC (I did this in LC), (also was my second repeat of this). Not sure I will be able to tink it back successfully but my only hope is to try to save this, otherwise I will have to start over. :( I didn't see this in your brioche fixes videos. It was looking so good.

Well, next time you can put a lace line on the end of each repetition, and you can open the row and pith the stitches back with the help of the fixes video.

@@hasargaknit4305 Yes. I wish I had done that , but it worked out in the end, I was actually able to tink back the whole row and start again in the DC color fixing my mistake. I Almost finished, just doing the final ribbing now. Very happy with the results. Thank you again for your kind generosity of this pattern and video. Take care.

Wondering about the slanting decreases pattern repeat section, when you say to repeat these 4 rows 6 more times, equaling 7 repeats in total or was it actually meaning 6 repeats total? Thank you.
