Glorious Restoration!! The roof looked like a grenade went off on it!! Beautiful prep and polishing job, too! The coiled-spring suspension on all four corners is a really neat feature. Having all those different springs to replace them perfectly felt really good! Your paint choice is wonderful. The original models all have varying goodness for their paint jobs as time and storage variations affected them. I will say your paint job was superlative in correct color and application!! Just a first rate job on a rather RARE and amazing Spot On Tri-ang car!!

Great job! The factory was in Belfast, Northern Ireland. My aunt Lillian used to work there. They produced a broad range of other children’s toys as well as the Spot-On range of model cars. As a child, I received several cars as birthday or Christmas presents.

Great resto of s classic beautiful car. I worked at a classic car shop and the customer always complained the exhaust on his Bristol was no good. We found out when he backed up into his garage he new when to stop when the tail pipe hit the wall! 😂

Les miniatures Spot On Triang étaient belles et originales à l'échelle 1/42 un peu plus grosses que les autres ..on trouvait principalement tes modèles british originaux cette Bristol une Aston Martin DB 2, une Jaguar XK SS et Mark X une type E ...une DAIMLER Dart rare en modele réduit , une JENSEN CV 3 inedite en miniature une Vauxhall CRESTA......mais aussi un scooter Lambretta , une FIAT 500....Une HOLDEN rarissime ...etnune merveilleuse Rolls Royce Bordeaux véhicule de parade de sa majesté Elizabeth II installée à bord en personnages miniatures avec son époux à ses côtés et leur chauffeur au volant ...j'aurais espéré qu'un fabricant britannique refasse ce modele Corgi Ou Dinky tous Ou Vangards ...pourvla disparition de la reine ...ils en auraient vendus comme des petits pains ou biscuits anglais de Noël...de Christmas Pardon !!!LES CORGI TOYS ont rescucite ...pourquoi pas les SPOT-ON TRIANG ...on met Triang derrière car les SPOT-ON existaient bien avant que l'usine soit racheté par le groupe Triang des trains Hornby Acho et OO , , des maquettes plastiques Airfix et des soldats Crescent Toys en plastique ....souple .....OUi que revive cette belle Bristol marque anglaise qui fut absorbée par BMW bien avant les autres comme ROLLS ROYCE même au firmament des anglaises ...Aaahhh ces allemands !!! I'm rather disappointed in the quality of this model - not your restoration, but the model. Spot On were seen as the cream of the crop of model cars - I only ever had a few as they were expensive. But this model looks really basic. The interior is barely passing grade, and the wheels are terrible - most Spot On cars had spun aluminium hubs, and tyres.

this is a model from the beginning of production, later they improved the wheels as you write and made full interiors, in this case it is actually quite minimalist
