Very vague! No real information. Probably nothing innovative about it.

That's a bit of an assumption based on very little. Check out literally any of the reviews, they seem to think otherwise.

Their website has lots of videos explaining the products, some have a number of deeper tutorials, and they all follow a similar design ethos and set of effects, so when you learn one, you essentially learn them all. I don't think they could have explained the depth of both Spectres and Cycles in < 15m, they would need at least that much just for one of them.
