Adam is the only one I could think of that take the reins and continue the Queen legacy. He doesn't try to and of course, will never replace Freddie. He does have a similar stage presence and overall personality. He has the same swaggering confidence on stage. I think Freddie would be honored and pleased.

He's got such a powerful voice, which you need with the majority of Queen's songs. Plenty of singers have the power 'chops' as it were, but a lot of them sound screechy and shouty, whereas Adam has the melodic chops as well as the power chops. I think Freddie would have loved him 😊

My grandsons saw Adam singing We Will Rock You on the Queen's 70th Jubilee Party at the Palace. It became my now 5 yr old grandson's favorite song. He taught it to his preschool class. His teacher had to limit him to singing it at lunch and recess because he would break out spontaneously singing it and leading the class to sing along. He's looking forward to teaching his kindergarten class...heck he thinks he's going to teach the whole school because he's going to run it. It will be an interesting school year for him...lol!

Great reaction, thx guys! I saw Queen +Adam Lambert live in Melbourne Australia in 2020 just 1 mth before lockdown! I would have had the biggest tantrum if the show had been canceled 🤣 Hands down the best concert I have ever been to, they were sensational! Brian & Roger still rockin’ it & Adam is the only one who could possibly have filled this position, as Roger himself said” I don’t know of anyone who can out sing Adam Lambert & Brian has called him “ A gift from God!” More Queen + Adam Lambert pls, love from Oz!

As long as we go in with an open mind and don't try to compare Adam to Freddie, it is easy to see how talented Adam is, what a great voice he has and his strong stage presence, there is no question in my mind why Brian and Roger chose him to go out and tour with them. Both Roger and Brian missed the spectacle that is Queen, the elaborate shows and their own music that they had played for 20 years together. Adam gives the two of them the opportunity to continue on and it also gives new generations the ability to see Queen music as it should be, live and in a huge venue with all the spectacle of a huge Broadway production of what a Queen show had always been. Performing this music honors Freddie because it keeps his memory and his music alive. Adam has the power and the range to do the Queen songs in the key in which they were writen which is no small feat. Thank you for your reactions.

If I remember correctly, Queen was receiving a Life Time Achievement Award and they were introduced as Queen, Adam wasn't identified by name. After the performance, social media exploded that they had to do a tour and the rest gentlemen is history. The first full concert was in Kiev for Elton John's AIDS fundraiser. Elton did nearly 3 hours then Queen + Adam did another 2 1/2 hour set. It was outdoors in the city core and it was estimated the crowd was nearly 1 million. Talk about jumping in with both feet LOL. The entire set is on YT

I absolutely can't stand Adam's vocals on Queen music. I've listened to him singing many songs and he sounds the same on every song, he can't manipulate his vocals to fit each song, no grit on the rock songs at all. To me Adam would be great on Broadway, but for me he doesn't have that special ability for Queen music. Of course I've been a huge Freddie fan since 1974, so I'm really biased 😅 maybe the new fans like it and some old fans who are just happy Roger and Brian are still going, that's fine, but it's not my cup of tea.

I cannot even mention Adam's name on my channel, they would all run away 😂I respect him as a person and solo artist but Freddie is always on my mind when I edit a new video for Friday.

Yes you are biased nothing wrong with that, I am a Freddie Fan but I also love Adam, he alone has single handedly helped Queen make the biggest Rock Comeback in History, he is not a replacement for Freddie he sings Queen Songs his own way and does a brilliant job. This is a new Era for Queen now QAL Adam has been their Lead Singer for 12 years and counting. and they have millions of Fans. You don't like them which is your preference but Freddie would love him and be jealous of his talent. This is a QAL Video, if you don't like don't watch, no one is forcing you.

@@xmasbunnyscotland5355 Adam has a good voice, but it's not versatile, he has a contemporary type of voice which is great for musicals, Broadway as I said. Brian and Roger wanted to carry on and Adam gave them the vehicle to do so. People seem to get upset if others disagree about Adam 😂 I think Freddie would be happy for Brian and Roger, but Freddie being jealous I doubt that, because Freddie said he wouldn't be performing at an older age because it would be ridiculous and said he wasn't going to be one of those old hams that did know when to quit.
@xmasbunnyscotland53552 ай бұрын
@@deboraclark5791 I appreciate what you are saying however this is not about Freddie, no one knows what he would think yes he wanted the Band to continue and he would be pleased that Brian and Roger and Spike have found someone with an unbelievable voice who can do justice to all Queen Songs and yes Adam can and yes I believe Freddie would be jealous. You can think what you like but Adam has rejuvenated that Band and they have been enjoying well deserved success for the last 13 years and will continue for a while yet.

@@xmasbunnyscotland5355 I'm glad for Roger and Brian they're having fun. You have your opinion and you like Adam's vocals good for you, but I have my opinion as well. You say it's not about Freddie, well it's Queen music so it is about Freddie, Adam and Freddie have totally different vocals, the music was written for Freddie's vocals, it fits him. You're an Adam fan, great, and you like the sound, wonderful. I just happened to disagree, you shouldn't get so upset, it's kind of ridiculous if you think about it, everyone has likes and dislikes. 🤣 Like I said, Adam fans get so upset if someone doesn't care for his singing, very strange. Maybe Adam fans have become fanatics.
