thank you for this reaction❤ Adam is really amazing. He later talked about this performance and said that because there were so many people gathered, he couldn't hear the accompaniment. And before the performance, he was unexpectedly allergic to pollen and took allergy medicine before going on stage (which u can't tell at all) No wonder Brian and Roger love him so much.

They opened this with that set, Brian May asked if the queen would like to participate some way with that first song and they said they would see what they could do, so that teacup scene was the real queen with paddington bear. I would have hated to be the act following that iconic band. Adam Lambert really holds his own with them, too!
@edrrobb19883 ай бұрын
You said that exactly. That's exactly what I think about the way they chose him and how well he does it and to just be invited to be part of the Queen's jubilee that is such a huge deal and it's of itself. So to bring someone in to a band like that and put them in that kind of position shows the kind of faith that they have in him. And that's what I loved about this because like if you watch them own the oh I forgotten his name. The one of The late night host the one that was from Britain and he just quit recently and I'm just drawing a blank right now but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about when they came on there and did the sing-off with him. James Corbin James Corbin you could just see how much that the band loves. Adam and enjoys him

When this came out, I showed my 2 yr old grandson the video because you know Paddington. He didn't care about that he loved We Will Rock You. It's his favorite song! He taught his preschool friends it. Of course, he sings the lead, lol! His teacher had to tell him he could only sing it at lunch and recess because spontaneous song didn't work well in school! Let's see how his soon to be kindergarten teacher handles him! 🤣 The keyboard player Spike Edney was touring with Queen since 1984 or 86. Neil Fairclogh plays bass, and Tyler Warren plays second percussion.

But it is Queen ( + Adam Lambert ) so that makes it okay. Also he was not the only American performer to be part of the Jubilee. And, England still considers the USA as their renegade child so in a way we are all still family. The edge of the sixpence has lines on it so Brian says that makes a difference in the sound as well. Of course he has his own guitar that he and his dad built so the tone of the guitar is a bit different from other guitars as well.

As an Aussie, the only other person who might have been able to fill those big shoes after Freddy is/was John Farnham. Sadly, probably not now but him and Adam and equally the most talented and multifaceted male vocalists I know.

After Freddie Mercury's death in 1991, QUEEN's members and Management Team and Freddie Mercury's Phoenix Trust Fund Team chose Paul Rodgers as frontman from 2004 to 2008. Their 2008 Concert in Kyiv was released by Queen Official to raise funds for Ukraine. Adam Lambert was chosen way back in 2009 during his short stint on AIS8. Sir Brian May received over half a million calls, texts and a clip of his audition for his solo career. Roger Taylor and Phil Spike Edney were blown away with Adam Lambert's rendition of Whole Lot Of Love and the song has been added on their setlists in their select worldwide Tours, as well as some songs from Adam Lambert's solo career Albums. After the finale, Sir Brian May had a private conversation with Adam and expressed his desire to work with him in the future and the rest is history in the annals of music and film industries.

The only thing Adam Lambert and dimash has in common is, both performed live on stage at St Petersburg's Ice Palace. Dimash is genre limited and if I want to listen to Opera, I'd listen to Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Mirella Freni, Maria Callas etc. successful iconic and legendary Opera Artists, never dimash, a mere wannabe who has to transition back and forth singing like a female and male, equivalent to pony tricks.
