My sister told me about a friend of hers who had issues with his HOA, and so did his neighbors. He decided to run for HOA president, and he won. He was cool with everybody in the neighborhood. He wasn't so strict, and the people loved him, except for the rest of the HOA board. They ended up dissolving the HOA. That neighborhood was so happy.

6 years of restaurant management and I can verify this is 100% true. I worked in a very high income area with a bunch of new money mid-30s folk and they all had housewives that set at home drinking Chardonnay all day and then come into the restaurant and berate my employees. My employees love me, I had zero f**** to give and no tolerance for b*******. I would passive aggressively gaslight these b****** until they did something so I could call security on them. I had more than a few hauled out after they started screaming about orange juice or something crazy.

@C Summers My father taught my siblings and I from a young age that being bored was our own fault. People are bored because they are sitting back and waiting on something/someone to entertain them. My Father, “If you are bored I WILL find something for you to do.” That threat always cured our boredom as we scrambled quickly elsewhere lest Dad carried through with his threat.. 😂

Here’s an example of my attitude. While driving wife points to a house and proclaims how ugly that house is with it painted purple. Told her then we won’t buy that house for you to live in. We went back and forth until I pointed out, “is the paint peeling or faded, is the yard clean and well maintained, is there trash in the yard, are they drinking or doing drugs in the yard? No. It’s their home, they like the color, and they’re taking care of their property. They would be good neighbors. Meanwhile their next door neighbor’s home, which you didn’t say anything about, is a color you are fine with but the paint is peeling, yard is trashed, they’re outside drunk in the early afternoon, and they’re playing loud music. Which one would you want as neighbors?”

Some have suggested that we have a real mental health issue in the Western World. Many blame social media for it. That these people are so in need of validation, that they are lashing out like this and posting insane videos. Just recently, I saw a video of a nurse who set up her camera, to show her reaction of her loosing a patient. That’s not right. That takes a high level of narcissism, to think of doing such a thing. You probably haven’t heard of the shooting in Highland Park Illinois, just this pass weekend. But the guy posted video of himself acting out a mock school shooting, a while age. People are just plain ignoring huge red flags, that we are in deep trouble here.

When my oldest was 14, he was jumped by a male Karen because he was playing in a friends yard with the neighborhood kids including the the kids that lived there. My boy beat the $h1t! out of him. Then, I had him arrested for assaulting a minor. They had to take him to the hospital for his injuries before they took him to jail. He moved within a month. Thankfully. He had been there for years, and his wife had left him because of abuse towards her and their 2 sons. I later heard that he wound up getting 5 years in jail for his abusive nature towards everyone.

Most areas have an “animal control officer” aka dog catcher to handle unwanted pets in your yard. They even will set up a cage on your property to catch the little bugger. Confronting the owner at their home is not a good idea.

I'd day so. When you see KZbin channels and KZbin videos compressing this sort of material down into a complication video and then you get these sorts of videos in your recommended feed, it's easy to come to that conclusion. Kind of like the never ending news cycle of always delivering bad news or doom scrolling on Twitter. Honestly it’s bc people are entitled and have nothing better to do. If you have the wrong sign in your yard or if someone decides to hang the American flag upside down (expressing their country is in distress), people have gotten the cops called on them or even gotten death threats. Fr I can’t stand thieves, I had my PS4 stolen back in 2015 (had it for around 2 months) luckily my camera caught him stealing it out of our house, I reported it to the police and gave them my number and camera footage and fast forward to last august they caught him and it turns out he was involved in a credit card stealing ring in Michigan (my state), Pennsylvania and Ohio and he’d been hiding out in Ohio for the past 5 years, thankfully I at least got $500 back for the restitution.

I don't know full story of 9:30 but if the cat is sneaking in her home and causing damage then she has every right to complain. I don't know what owner could other than make cat indoor for now on. But I had a neighbor who threw months worth of dog shit in bags into my yard. I didn't notice until winter end because have pretty big fence in yard with snow covering it. I didn't own a dog so I was furious and of course bags ripped during winter. I kept my cool but warned them to stop this immediately. Turns out their 6 year old kid was throwing bags over fence instead of putting in garbage. I was lucky was just so dumb kid and stopped but no idea how much worse could have been if it was some adult asshole doing this.

During covid and particularly when George Floyd was murdered, our president at the time stoked racism and otherism. That’s when Karens became Karens. Entitlement and “my rights” became all the rage and I mean rage 😡. I could see that you were getting a bit heated while watching them. Karens trigger anger in others and that perpetuates the division which is completely partisan politics. It really was one man and his supporters who are absolutely convinced that he is a victim of democrats when he was the president who truly believe him. The entire country was blasted with grievances. It’s been exhausting and, obviously, it’s still happening. Sorry to bring in politics but that’s exactly what caused the Karenization of our country.

In the first clip, you can tell by the snow on the ground that it takes place in northern part of the US. If this had happened here in Florida, that crazy Karen could have been shot due to the fact she was trespassing on private property, and that is a crime with severe punishments down here. All the owner needs to do is give the order to leave the property first, and then if the order is refused, take action. Up north in states like New York, the cops very rarely charge people for that crime. By the way, the kids can be charged as well.
