I don’t like her, I’m not even halfway through the video and I had to see the comments. In America we try things on, we don’t wear it around the store making it a used item if she doesn’t buy it. I doubt she does that in Harrods, but she sounds like she’s above us. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Those people were weird... they just seemed like super snobby aholes. they'd didntevne see the guns which would have been interesting for British people to see. Walmarts sells guns. They got rid of ars and handguns but they still sell hunting rifles and shotties. A great idea would be for brits to visit a Bass Pro Shop that would blow your minds especially one of the big ones. Or a fireworks store.

They seem a bit posh to me. Nothing wrong with having money or growing up in the culture that that brings, even if you don't have much now LOL. But they seem a bit judgmental. Again, if they were gonna put out a video, you'd think they'd be careful about such things. I wouldn't want to come across as being "too good" for the US LOL They're probably nice ppl...they just seem a bit snooty to me is all.

Not a big fan of that channel. They come off as condescending and I've seen them review restaurants--like Texas BBQ-where they complain that they are vegan or something and don't eat what the restaurant is known for. Sometimes I get the sense that they hate America and just do it for the views but aren't able to keep up the facade most of the time and have zero interest in learning anything new. There's my rant lmao.

Saltines are meant to be a vehicle for other food like cheese and or sliced sausage. They also go well with soups, I always liked them crumbled up in tomato soup. Alone they are bland and best eaten only to settle a queasy stomach

Think I have seen this video on another KZbinr's reaction video, she ends up wearing the jacket while shopping, then decided not to purchase it (3:37), waiting to end to see if I'm right or not. And yes, cameras are watching her (along with security) because wearing it around made her look suspicious of possibly stealing the jacket!

Thank you for not acting foolish like these two your first time at Walmart. Walmart does a great job not stocking non sellers at certain stores. I have at least 5 Walmarts in a 20 mile radius from me and some carry different things.

Why? It's just a giant store and in smaller communities they sell things you'd never be able to get without them. But if you don't want to enter their stores, they have an excellent web site that successfully competes with Amazon (and not infrequently at lower prices) including very rapid delivery. Alternatively, they will bring your order to the curb for you. But I'm just a 5 %er who's not too hoity-toity to go to Walmart and get what bargains I can.

@@BTinSF That I've done case studies on Walmart as a company and the Walton family that owns it, the kind of people they are as a whole, what they do to small mom and pop stores when they come into a community. If you want to shop there, be my guest. That is the beauty of this country, after all. We all have a right to shop where we want to and make those conscious decisions for ourselves.

NO, you really do not need Walmarts. Be assured they will ruin your small community shops and stores leaving you with deserted , empty downtown shopping areas. Walmart and big box stores are a blight on communities here in the USA.

So double crumpets? I've actually seen crumpets for sale too in the US but not commonly and every store carries a variety of English muffins as all Americans know.

@@BTinSF yeah, kind of. Its not exactly the same though. They are like crumpets except they are a little more denser and not as fluffy. The name "English muffin" was popularized by Samuel Bath Thomas, an English immigrant who introduced this type of bread to New York City in the late 1800s. He began selling them as "toaster crumpets" before they became known as English muffins. I have never been to the UK but from what I read they are simply called 'muffins' there.

Almond joy is actually the same as bounty. Just what chocolate determines its name in the states.

Actually you would have to remove the Almond to make it the same as Bounty. I love Almond Joy but I so prefer Bounty. You could also change Mounds dark chocolate to milk and it would be the same.

Hello Millie 👋🏻 another great reaction my friend...my family loves your channel and my daughter just adores the videos with Archie in them. She believes he's the cutest baby she's ever seen. (She's almost 20yrs old by the way and just gets so giggly over him 🥰) Now as for this couple.....well I see that I am not the only one who doesn't really care for them. I don't know...they just rub me the wrong way. I understand things here are really different from the U.K but sometimes I feel like they are just really sarcastic and snobby at times. I don't know about anyone else but it really bothered me that she wore that sweater/jacket throughout the store...sprayed stuff on it and the didn't buy it. That wasn't cool..I don't know how it is in the rest of the country but here in the Midwest that was very rude...and like... who would want to buy it after she did that? Maybe I am just over reacting....but I would never have done that ...wherever I was in the world.

I'm here to push their web site. I have two homes, one in a small community without a lot of shopping but where there is a Walmart and one in a major city where there's no Walmart. In the small town, I go to Walmart all the time and they have certain things I'm hooked on. For example, my cat loves their silica cat litter and nobody else sells anything quite like it (the nationwide brands have larger particle sizes that can be rough on paws). But I can order it on the Walmart web site and get next day delivery (orders over $35 are free delivery).

The bagged cereals are generic copies of the brand named boxes. The taste is fairly close and you get more.

Millie's right, not all of the Walmarts carry all of the same products, there are 2 Walmarts in my town (one on east side and one centrally located) and only one if them has the cupcake Goldfish

Yeah, no kidding. I moved 15-20 miles and shop at a different Walmart, this one doesn't sell the fully stuffed Digiorno pizzas. 😢

I tend to buy a lot of acrylic paint for projects I’m working on and a few other things that oddly I need sometimes. Somehow spray paint prices have gone up three times already, it was super cheap now it’s like $10 a can up from $2 a can. That’s ridiculous. My dad bought a lot of spray paint cans to cover a shed wall because our HOA is a bit nuts on things. We blasted that thing with go away green to create the illusion that it’s just plants back there. He also keeps buying them touch up things outside occasionally.

Yes, I do my grocery shopping at Walmart. They have most everything that I need, and their prices are usually pretty good. I also get my prescriptions filled at their pharmacy. The one thing that I don't like, and this isn't just with Walmart, but if you use the self checkout counters,, the surface that has the bags where you put your groceries in, is designed for women, not men. If you are a tall guy, you have to bend over to put your groceries in the bags, and the angle that you have to bend over at, is hard on your back.

where's British Mum? (I miss her😔) The English muffins need to be separated (opened up in halves) to look like they do on the packaging. They're pre-cut to be separated. But there are real English crumpets in the cold section, where you would find the cookie dough and butter, etc.

Walmarts are all pretty uniformed stores so you'll find basically the same things in all of them with a few exceptions for regional needs....they're resealable bags for big families that stock up for the month that's why food portions are so big in the stores....that was worms for fishing bait in the fridge not ice cream....its called self checkout over here too its just called scan & go in the store....lia is still annoying unfortunately....was hoping for a bit more commentary from Millie

I prefer Walmart's fresh bread to other stores around me. The only place I get sub roles is from Walmart. I like when the bread is crusty and a little firm on the outside but pillow soft on the inside.

Soft does not equal "best" in bread IMHO. I'm so used to the flavor of traditionally made bread from a real baker I never buy the supermarket stuff, which has no actual flavor, now.

Joel and Lia split up as they both have other things they need to do and scheduling wasn’t working out. Joel moved to the states and Lia is going as a realtor up in Cirencester in Gloucestershire although she sells properties all over England. Mainly she’s staying in London for now. Joel just been working his voice acting gigs in Florida.

English muffins are meant to be split across the middle. When you see them from the outside you are looking at the bottom. After you take one out you pull it apart and toast them. I'm not sure if those folks are aware of doing that. Wow. They see things they don't do or have in the UK?...Gee it's like a whole other country. Am I the only one bothered by her criticizing someone for wearing the panda head and breathing in it after she's put it on and breathing in it. Then she freaks about a 13 dollar coat then wears it around the store spraying cheap body spray on it then unable to purchase it. Assuming she even bothered to put it back where she found it, they are some pretentious shoppers.

Saltines are terrible. Honestly we only really use them for soup. That’s it or crumble them into other dishes in place of breadcrumbs.
