I was at the Seahawks game where they said, “Seattle Mariners”. The whole crowd started chanting “Seeeeea-Haaaaaawks”. Which is normal anyway. To be fair, the Mariners had just clenched a playoff spot. Pete Carrol is both the oldest and the most energetic coach in the NFL

Pete Carroll became the Seahawks head coach in 2010. He has been coaching for a very long time now. In my opinion, one of the best coaches to ever coach the game.

I don’t know if you can find it but they had the nfl honors on NBC the other day. They also had Damar Hamlin speak and they honored his doctors and nurses. Thought you would like to see it and maybe to a reaction to it. It was very emotional.

I believe most of those celebrations were not when the ball was in play. You can only do the celebrations after the play has ended and the teams have not lined up again...and it isn't a form of taunting the other team. I LOVE the celebrations...sad they will not allow much anymore.

You can do celebrations if you are about to score but it can't be directed at another player. When Tyreek does the ✌🏾 sign he has to do it towards the crowd. If he does it towards a player chasing him, it's taunting.

That " bowl" is not just for that game or stadium...it is a Savation Army kettle. These kettles on a much smaller scale, start appearing after Thanksgiving and go away Christmas eve. They have a bell ringer that is in charge of their kettles, they ring the bell people put money in the kettle to help the poor, that may not get a Christmas dinner, or those with small children with gifts for the children like toys for tots does every year, the money also helps out soup kitchens, and food banks. I think the players were goofing around to bring more attention to the kettle

I HATE when announcers say stuff like, he hasn't missed a kick all year or this RB hasn't fumbled in two years bc right after they say that, it happens!! It's the announcer curse or the announcer jinx. It's crazy, especially in crucial moments. Also, you get 3 timeouts in the 1st half and 3 in the 2nd half

Generally it’s taunting if the celebration is too long, I think 30 seconds. Or if it is directed to insult Youre opponent. You are not supposed to use props from outside the field either. Certain other celebrations are banned like dunking on the goal post because it can bend the post

If you see them say "hut" multiple times, it's likely they're trying to draw the defense offsides for a penalty and yards for an offense. Like if it's 4th and 5 or less, defense goes offsides (crossing line of scrimmage before the snap), the offense will get a 1st down.

With the celebrations thing, the league only made having coordinated celebrations legal very recently. I think 2018 or 2019. Before, it would be a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Now, a taunting penalty is if you make some kind of motion toward an opponent or the opponents’ sideline

Yeah, the towel thing? What they did with it, like clearing or drying the spot where he's gonna place the hold for a kick? That's a no-no. Kinda like golf and play it as it lies, if the spot for the hold isnt optimal you can't just use a towel to make it drier.

They only get in trouble for celebrations if they are violent, obscene, sexual, or offensive. Or if you have been warned to stop and don’t. If any of these then you can be fined and even ejected. Jamaal Williams was fined over $10k this last season although I don’t really think his celebrations are that bad
