Well, the orders where made dormant in 1975 but where activated again in 2022. They do have knigthly ranks but do not go with an "sir" or similar title. So give it a year or two and he will be, all 4 ABBAs was in march this year.

This year we reopened the Chivalric Orders in Sweden after being dormant since 1973-4, among the first ones awarded by the king was the members of ABBA who were made Commander, First Class, of the Royal Order of Vasa. I would not be surprised if Max Martin would receive his honors in the future.

A friend of mine noticed an unnamed little place in Central Stockholm, and suggested to the city that they name it "Dag Volles Plats" (Dag Volles place) after Denniz Pop. The city had neither thought about the place being unnamed, nor about Denniz not having anything named after him, so they accepted his suggestion right away and promptly put up steet name signs saying Dag Volles Plats.

Thanks! Your channel is such an ego boost for my national pride being Swedish 🇸🇪. We sadly don’t do knighthood even though we’re a monarchy though. Max martin is someone to be very proud of as are several Swedish music achievements. Avicii, abba, ace of back, Roxette, SHM, and a bunch of song writers like Anders Bagge, Andreas Carlsson and many more. Despite our modest population size we’re the 3rd largest music export in the world right after the US and the UK with 6-30 times the population. That’s quite the achievement!

I didn't think about it until I saw this clip, but Ingvar Kamprad (the guy who founded IKEA) and Max Martin have a bit of the same mentality. Low profile, imaginative innovators in their own field. I have heard a story that Ingvar Kamprad was once not even allowed into his own award ceremony. He got there in his old Volvo instead of a taxi or limousine. 😊Very Swedish, Jante. He has not been knighted but he was celebrated in Sweden a few years ago when he received the Polar Prize, for his accomplishments in music. I think that was the first time I ever saw what he looked like. The members of ABBA were knighted at the end of May so I think he might be knighted at some point too but I don't think he'd get the same title as they did. I think it all leads back to them, if it wasn't for them then Dennis Pop and Max Martin wouldn't have been as successful in pop. He is absolutely running the scene now though with his disciples

As you heard what we have in Sweden to encourage young people to keep up with music and every town in Sweden has a music association's premises where they can keep playing the instrument and there is also a Municipal Music School. That is why Sweden has many good artists and songwriters. Just take Celine Dion and look at the back of the album cover, and you will see other Swedes who wrote lyrics and music for her that have become big hits. You should also listen to talented Swedish artists and bands. Simplicity is not a bad thing. I can pay more money for at thing I really like and want to last for a long time but why get a lot of flashy junk when not so flashy stuff works as well? The money I save can be used to do other funny things with. It is the same with music and lyrics; a simple but catchy melody and lyrics where you really have the time to hear what is singing and also have a refrain that is appealing that is the thing. Music should be interesting for everyone in the world (makes more moneyyyy) and not all of us know other languages but if it is catchy you still like it and learn some of the words. I loved The Beatles when I was a kid, "Yellow submarin" 1969 and I was 5 yrs old. Had no clue of what they sang or what I was singing but apperently I also was "living i a yellow submarine". The problem with the songs Max Martin will have in the future is that most of his 4 chord songs are generic and interchangeable. meanwhile the AI (Suno in particular) writes just as good generic songs - completely free and much faster. Either he starts writing more original material or his time is over.

Some state i saw Max been involved in some 40% of all the hits for the last 20% But i kind of think you looking at the wrong dude. Its Denniz that is the Goat, not max. Max hits are a bit to formulaic. The number one hits is up to 27 now for max martin. But that is kind of misleading, because he have not always been listed on songs he have been involved with. The Mariah Cary on 4th place is a bit missleading. No she didn´t wrote all the songs here self, she cowrote them. by tradiation the preformer is always listed as primary writer if they are involved with writing the songs even if its just a little bit.
