I love the reaction to Sweden. As a Swede I usually say my favorite country in Scandinavia is Denmark. Happy people, relaxed and much more relaxed than Sweden.

I´m from Gothenburg, Sweden. I love Denmark for so many reasons. They are family! I have been to Denmark every year since I was 4 years old. I am retired to day.

Historically (or what I've learned on youtube) Denmark and Sweden have been in the most wars with each other, but now we keep to a light banter (they make fun of how we talk (I'm Danish) and we make fun of the weird food they eat (hotdogs with mashed potato and shrimp or Surstromning, fermented fish in a can, that smells so bad grown men starts throwing up)

We Danes don't hate the Russian people/civilians, but the present leadership of Russia would be a good hate-candidate.

i grew up in the area its filmed in i even know a person in the video i lived in alot of other countries to ..... to be honest i think in general it would be sweden but its partly a joke but that have to be explained and most danish people will like the UK partly we see us as partly the same because of the vikings on the british isles

UK have a special place in most Danes heart. WE have never forgotten the invaluable resistance you put up during Hitler Germany´s reign. The aid provided to our resistance and the sacrifices the UK population made are not forgotten, so Brexit or not I have never met a Dane, as a Dane, that said they hated UK, nor Britain. Lately we though wonder why you seem to have stopped building out your off shore windmill parks since they, for you as for us, have been great investments lowering the CO2 emissions and ending the decades long stupidity of sending our hard currencies to dictators in Russia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar etc in reality financing their human rights abusing regimes.

I wouldn't say you send bad songs, necessarily. Which song wins the Eurovision Songcontest, isn't alone deflicted on how good it is. There is much more to it. Different countries have different preferences in music and that does also have something to say. Some times it's the plain simple one, down to earth, and some times it's the fancy one playing on all plates, giving it everything

As for USA. I think its a fascinating place, and it could be cool to visit. But, I would NOT want to live there. I also don't like how much influence it has on the western world, we are "learning" too many bad things for them. Growing up (im 40) it was like, USA is always ahead, they are smarter and better, and we are behind them, and some of that is still lingering, but I think, and hope it is changing a bit. Denmark is not a 2 party system, though the press try to simplify it into that at elections. Corruption is growing, lobbying is growing, ignorance of fact in favor of political or commercial ideals are growing, and I see it all as coming from USA! I never liked the EU, but they do a decent job of protecting us from completely collapsing into USA2. So while I don't hate USA, I wish we would pay less attention to them. There is a lot about China not to understand, but despite popular belief in the west, they are probably the only country in the world actually taking climate change serious in their actions. In a year they more than doubled the worlds renewable energy sources, they are greening their desserts, while everywhere else is getting increased desertification. They don't really respect their population or personal rights, and for that, I don't like them, and again, would never want to live there. Iran is a good place to hate - north korea too! Israel is doing a great job at being bullies and is certainly exploiting that everyone has their eyes on Russia atm. Russia being another place we don't really like - but it is not so much the people. Many of the coolest most jankiest AND most usefull and incredible youtube videos come from Russia. In short, maybe it is the word "hate" that is the problem, maybe it is less serious in English than we perceive it? But I don't think there is any country I hate, there is several I dislike, there are many where I would never want to live due to laws, corruption, crime or just lack of civil rights, but I don't hate them for that, I might hate them if I was forced to live there, but I might also find out they were not as bad as I imagined.

Half of the people asked were not Danish but foreigners living in Denmark, and half of the people in Copenhagen are leftwing... that survey is not valid in terms of to representante danish people opinion. The Danes generally do not like countries where people are oppressed, which means countries that are Islamic and/or ruled by a dictator

I think it is perfectly valid to like or dislike countries without having been there. you can like or dislike countries for internal matters, like genocides, treatment of migrant workers, women, homosectuals, ethnic or religious minorities. Here visiting might give you better perspectives, but I am not going to meets the workers who were mistreated in the construction of the hotel I am staying in, and I will probably not get a tour of a reeducation camp for religious minorities. But more important you can dislike a country for how they affect the world. I can dislike China for their disregard of international law in the South China Sea or dislike USA for invading Irak, and in either case, goin there to visit would change very little.
