If they have a choice between rescuing one British person or collecting 100 illegals from mid channel where they have been guided by the French, who do you think would come first? There have been marine radio calls recorded where the RNLI and Border Force have been discussing with the French exactly where they will meet mid channel in order to hand the illegals over. If a lorry driver is stopped at Dover and found to have an illegal in the back, even if he didn't know it, both he and his company get massive fines, yet the RNLI and Border force can bring them in by the hundred and not be charged.

It is not just the 8 million a day but all the other costs. Pocket Money, entertainment, health care(they’re first in the queue), dental care, lawyers and other judicial costs, housing and other benefits. Also the money that it costs to process them - the extra staff. Money for France. Money for Rawanda. The government never has any money available for other things. Like defence and the military. Not enough money for farming. Not enough money for the NHS. No money to reduce taxes. Yet it seems that money is no object when it comes to illegal migrants.

It seems crazy how a political party will not do what they need to do to sort out the mess and also to appease the voters who pay their wages, or at least appease the sane ones. Start refusing them entry by any means necessary, and ship out the majority who have landed don shore and the voters will be happy and the government will be sure to keep on governing.
