You do realise the pub-landlord character that advocates a squadron of Spitfires to patrol the channel against rubber boats is a joke don't you? There is a housing crisis and a cost of living crisis, the economy faces stagflation and the British armed forces are in a pitiful condition to the extent that our tanks have virtually no shells, but lets talk about refugees - your an idiot!

Since you're clearly an anti-globalist, you should interview people like "The Duran" or Dr. Turley. Solid and knowledgeable guests. And of course reaching out to Nigel Farage would skyrocket your channel to new heights.

Unfortunately she wouldn't get any deal done with the UK government because the UK government would rather let the migrants continue to flow into the country. The only reason they give that money to France is as a smoke screen. Anyone that believes the British government is trying to reduce the number of migrants coming here, is an absolute fool.

@@edwardduff4746 With proportional representation, voting for the party whose policies align with your views is the way to go. However, with FPTP probably less than 100,000 voters have the power to change the government, i.e. those in marginal seats who switch parties. If disenchanted Tory voters spread their vote amongst two or more alternative parties, Labour will get in. If they all vote for the same alternative party, they stand a better chance of getting a seat, or at least sending a clearer message to the main parties, especially the one they've deserted. Currently the Reform Party seems to be the most likely to benefit from the Tories' failures. I live in a safe Labour seat so I have the luxury of not having to worry about such things as tactical voting; the chances of this seat changing hands is less than the chance of Liz Truss being voted PM of the century.

Holding the line till the next election 2 years 5 years or however many years down the road won't work. There needs to be a far greater sense of urgency. I am an American, the damage being done in this country is astronomical and it will continue to be that way the more time passes. The UK, France etc. are in no better situation than we are. We are all fighting the same enemies and these enemies want us all subjugated and living under their thumbs. The time for complacency is long gone, the time for action is now!
