This conversation was really helpful! My key takeaways are 1. Be careful training abs to heavy as it can lead to distention and back injury. Use lighter weight or your just your bodyweight as an alternative. 2. Don't underestimate the power of mind muscle connection. Stick with exercises that feel right for your body instead of the ones other people claim are the "best". 3. When it comes to the nurture side of the equation, children are more influenced by the friends they have (and families of those friends) than they are by their own parents.

@@ModelJames13abs are genetic and diet you get core work from squats or standing and tightening while doing curls press downs etc doing heavy an training is very overrated. I know you won’t change the way you think and probably still think you’re right but just lay off it and diet and do the heavy squats and dead’s and you’ll see you get just as much work for them

He doesn't have any bodybuilding secrets. All bodybuilding knowledge is very public. Step 1. Lift hard for a few years and see where you land on the genetic pecking order. Step 2. If genetically gifted, jump on steroids and become a monster. Step 3: Hopefully you hop off the roids before they kill you.

That’s some scary parenting thoughts. Simple: Instil discipline at a young age, be around for your kids so they know they can come to you, and number one make sure they’re healthy. The rest is out of your control and the more you grip the further they slip away.

I doubt he will ever win the Mr. O unless he takes more time off for a long offseason and adds a whole lot more mass. Erin Banks, Brandon Hendrickson, and Corey Morris are just too far ahead of him. Corey Morris especially I think will end up winning the Mr. O several years in a row. Plus of course he's got the wildcard of Jeremy Buendia coming back; he might do a lot better than people expect. But all that said, I think he should still compete until age 40 at least because he clearly loves it. And there's always the Master's Mr. O.

unless the conversation of his gear use is front and center, then he's a bold faced liar. He has no right to coach, no right to sell supplements, no right to talk about sleep until he says okay boys, these are the illegal drugs I am taking. At 44 I've been lifting all my life and see the young guys, the kids look up to these fools, and they are selling a lie. They are selling a fiction, because they got where they are by taking drugs that have been proven to kill you. This channel tries to talk about honesty and truth, well it really dropped the ball on this episode. Should of got a pharmacy degree.

@@jeltoninc.8542 Then 1. he needs to stay the hell away from kids. He's no role model. @@ExpatRiot79Chris definitely knows steroids and bodybuilding go hand in hand. You can’t bring up the topic either in interviews because they’re selling supplements, and will completely ruin their brands. I don’t think you can do BB(professional) natural. That’s because you’re looking at it from a narrow lens, he’s not saying “if you want to be a bodybuilder like me all you have to do is take supplements and train” he’s saying if you want to “build muscle” which fundamentally if all you want to do is BUILD MUSCLE, then you don’t need to take steroids of course, but im sure if the conversation was, if you want to be a professional bodybuilder, there would be more talk about the juice, everyone knows pro bodybuilders aren’t natural. Why do they need to mention it every time they talk?
