I heard Jamaicans were the first black people to settle in Great Britain. Also, I read that a guy named Equiano was the first black man to live and work in London. I don't know what to think!

Jamaicans were the first non white people to settle in England by far , that is why they are way way more integrated in English society then the Asians . It's because they have had a long time to adapt plus most blacks in England you meet will 9/10 times be a native English speaker and at least 2/3 generations in

There were Moors in Roman empire, , The Moors, Look Courtney, Firstly you are not White and not indigenous to England, Anglo Saxons are not indigenous to England Ireland Wales or Scotland, they are of the Germanic tribes who invaded and settled in the British Isles, The oldest Skelton ever found in England was in Somerset, 1901, DNA determined his eye and skin colour, he was fully Melianated with curly hair and Blue eyes, when the Romans came here, they described these people, you can't make it up, He was not White, but there is no such thing as White race, it is a social construct, made up not really what you are, you don't go about calling a Black car Brown or a Pink or Red car White do you 🤔 so why do it with us as people 🤔 conditioning, put on something White are you White?

There are proud things about human history, and then there a bad things. Religion is responsible for all the bad things, that's why I agree with promoting irreligion.. The world is better off with out it. But, just to note, black people aren't the only people who were enslaved... Jews were, Britons and Celts were (originals before the now English came), Arab leaders enslaved there OWN!,, So on....

Why say that tho that Black's were not the only people to be enslaved you were doing so well until you said that this is not about other people and Jewish is not a race Jews were and are black as we'll, the reason why what happened to Black's is unique is because of the length of time Black's were slave's and actually up until today but what the Europeans did was chattel Slavery and this was generational and the first time people were made a slave due to skin colour even the reason why we have franchises like KFC is because of African chattel Slavery obviously all groups of humans have been mistreated but this video is not about that what was done to Armenians no one says they were not the only people to be massacred even tho white European Jews were massacred they just allow that story to stand on it's own what you said is the same as when White's say white lives matter as well any sensible person knows that precious but that's not really the point is it.

The term "slavery" is just thrown around without context! Ancient Africa had slaves; however, some of these "slaves" were the equivalent of 4 star Generals in the kings army, with power and influence! The Kings army was composed of slaves, but were slaves in name only! These "slaves" were favored and lived very well!

I heard that "slave" was short for "slav" as in the "slavic" people in Europe (who were Caucasian). Also learned that the reason why Europe was in the "Dark Ages" was because that was the time when Dark people (i.e. Moors) ruled it.

Europeans adopted slavery after both Africans and Arabs had been using the system for centuries. Europeans were so easily able to get hold of slaves as there already existed an extensive slave trade in Africa and the middle east before any European ever set foot there. The Barbary states (north Africa) between the 15th and 19th century took slaves from anywhere they could find them. Slaves were also used by the Greeks and Romans, and are even used today by Arab states like Qatar (i think they have between 1-2 million) showing that slavery is just an inherent part of human society. Europe had better natural resources which gave them an advantage, and fueled by a religion which taught them to proselytise to others are good reasons as to why colonialism occurred. As an extra point the British Empire are the first government organisation to ever stop slavery and make it illegal.

you my friend are sadly mistaken, the word slave derives from Slavic Countries, maybe you've never read about the Irish slave trade, or how europeans traded white slaves for African serfs, slavery didn't exist in Africa initially, prisoners of war were called serfs (serfdom) europeans even kidnapped and enslaved each other sending slaves to the new world (America) as indentured servents, and were treated the same as black slaves, see Bacon's Rebellion

I genuinely have no idea what you are talking about. Egyptians are Africans unless you are counting the reign of Alexander the great. Furthermore, middle easterners are also clearly not white, although you could argue that some are Mediterraneans if they live on the coast. Was this a serious point of a joke? I have spent a lot of time looking up history, in and out of class, and have never come across this claim. I can only guess the people promoting this view are white supremacists who think if they share the same skill colour then they can also claim the same achievements. Sorry for the bad grammar.

Luke Kerrell Brittain enslaved English and Irish for centuries as well the practice of slavery was a part of their system as well then we can look at Feudalism and Serfs which the Plantation system in the Americas based on you can't BRUSH OFF the involvement of the British in the Slavery period by saying Africans and Arabs did it too cause England did it also
