God, I remember running around the neighbourhood as a kid in the 70s and 80s, without adults. No-one thought anything of it. Kids went out to play, that's just what kids did. The only nod given to our safety was don't go out without your sister and don't go with strangers. My own kids have been taught a lot more. It's not strangers that pose the biggest risk these days, kids know to be careful. It's people they know who are the real threat.

Dear God, please give these precious people that peace that only You can give. The worst fear as a parent is having a child go before us, not to mention the way these precious children were murdered. Like the Mom that did not get to see her son before the funeral, that is my worst fear, I would think just like her, if I didn't get to see my child, I would always be thinking they could walk in the door any minute. I have memorized my daughters hands and feet, I always have done that in the fear something would happen to one if them and I could not see thier face, I would beg to see their hands or feet, that way I would know by seeing that it was my child and I could have that closure. That poor Mom is forever wondering, but also knowing it was her son, the blessing to be able to see something that you know is your child would be way better than being in her shoes. I am glad the guy turned himself in, at least that is a tad bit of closure, whatever that means. It is so sad that she still has that tiny bit of hope because she could not see her child. I understand that when someone is beaten or shot and their faces are beyond recognition, it is better not to see them that way. But again, let me see their feet or hands, that is all I would need to know for certain, they are mine. God be with all who have been through this horrible, disgusting, life altering trauma.

Interesting they say most of the missing are found within 24hrs. Not if they try to lie and say they HAVE to wait 24hrs before even bothering to look for them. Hopefully that means at least in that area they WERENT telling people that. RIP young innocents. So sorry for them and their loved ones.🙏💔 This particular officer and all the others seemed to really care and do all they could. By evidence of years of attempts to "rehabilitate" these predatory child sex offenders, there is nearly zero success. These vile beings will undoubtedly offend again unless they are restrained by incarceration or castration. Those who go so far as to commit murder as well are essentially considered hopeless cases! I am thankful to live in the US. And in my state,we still practice the death penalty!! Its not given out easily,someone has to do heinous things and there are a lot of circumstances to even have the death penalty as an option,so when it is handed to someone they are not only sent to prison,but serve there time on Death Row. Which means completely isolated from the prison population. That is where they remain until either execution date,they die of another cause,or somehow,they get resentenced to a life sentence. Here a life sentence actually means life. Typical time on death row before being put to death is 10-15years because unfortunately,even they have 3 chances to appeal. Even the execution can be cancelled all the way up to 1 hour before. (Very uncommon) . Death row is the ultimate punishment saved for real monsters who cannot be in society or fixed. These people are not mentally ill,or commiting crimes in self defense. These are people with NO REMORSE, and will continue to commit heinous crimes unless they are stopped. The death penalty is saved to unspeakable crimes that most human beings cannot even wrap there minds around. They are not self defense or even crimes of passion,or accidents,most murders don't qualify for the death penalty. Its only for circumstances in which not only murder has happened but other felony acts, premeditated acts,or egregious circumstances has happened. They have to be first convicted of the crimes that qualify legally for the death penalty. and if the death penalty has been recommended and all 12 jurors and judge have to ALL AGREE.
