I've seen him singing in the streets many times around South Yorkshire and play a few local 'gigs and it's a travesty that he hasn't had a break until now. That's because true opera singers don't appear on talent shows. As an example, I have seen/heard an 8 stone lady fill the entire Cadogan Hall unamplified and without apparent effort, that comes from years of serious training and relentless practice not busking and singing in your bedroom. I am not belittling this chap, he is a very good natural talent, just not an opera singer.

I love this comment bc what u said about something else taking over is EXACTLY what happens. I have always had severe social anxiety..to the point where I don't even talk on the phone sometimes..but when I used to perform I had no problem getting up on a stage in front of hundreds of ppl. It's as if u step outside yourself or become someone else for that moment but yet I could never apply that to "normal" social situations that make me so uncomfortable n give me so much anxiety. He's amazing!! This was outstanding!!

Amazing performance. No stress or strain can be seen. A lot of times you will hear pitch problems or at least see a red face when opera is sung. This guy seemed so at home and comfortable singing this. Amazing. I love him.

Why has no one cast him in the phantom of the opera, or some professional Opera, His voice will hypnosis you. He is just that good to me. His voice is mesmerizing... I am praying someone gives him a chance. I would find a way to see him in concert!!

Wow as soon as he started singing my hairs stood up on end, such an amazing voice! Just in awe as to how talented he is and yet he is so shy. Hope he gets through to the finals

What a voice! The moment he start talking with that warm, soft voice, I couldn't wait to listen to him singing. He's full of feelings and his voice transmits all that. Also, the power of his voice got me a strange feeling in a good way, like David said also. He deserved the golden buzzer. Good luck in your career!

My jaw is still hurting from how hard it slammed into the floor! This was simply moving and beautiful. I’ve watched this 4 times in a row and each time my mouth dropped opened as I got the absolute chills. I hope whether he wins or not, he gets the recognition he deserves!

Everyone has to start somewhere! And busking is honest work, so I really DIDNT like her comment!!! Not at all! Way too elitist, for me! But 10 years? Seems someone would have auditioned him in that length of time! Wonder what the back story is on that! I mention it only because the world might have missed out on years worth of a really great voice singing!!! And I wish the audience would wait to the end of a performance to show their appreciation. They ruined whole sections of the marvelous singing! What a shame!!!

I can''t stop watching this - it's amazing and so moving. Such a beautiful voice combined with shyness and humility is a rare thing, and I hope he gains in self-confidence but doesn't change in any other way. I would love to see him win, and I would travel to hear him sing live. I've never commented on a BGT act before, but this was one of the most moving performances I've ever seen.
