Step aboard the HMHS Britannic, the third ship in the Olympic Class trio, who, like her older sister the Titanic, was cheated of a promising career. This ship has never been properly recreated before, and no one has seen her in this state since she sailed the Mediterranean. Now, as the result of extensive research by our team and leading Britannic historians, you can explore her and learn about her like never before.
BRITANNIC: PATRONESS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN is a virtual museum-like experience, where the user can explore the ship at their own pace and discover details about its story, architecture, and contributions to the First World War. There are video-game elements throughout, such as an animated sinking ‘level’ where the survival is not guaranteed, but this is primarily a learning environment.
In this experience, you'll be able to explore the ENTIRE exterior of the ship in Hospital form, as well as several interiors spaces in both Hospital and Ocean Liner versions.

Since there's so many similarities between the two ships, especially Britannic as she would have been, there's a lot of work they wouldn't have to do twice. I'm not sure if you can use the "Free Camera Mode" to see the RMS version hull, but it would be nice if possible. You see, them making these games under stand sort of a pattern. In my mind and to my understanding, if they cant find certain evidence about a certain room, they can look at previous ships and how they were built so that they can make an educated guess to what was (probably) there. Like I said it can only benefit the game instead of negatively impacting the game. Plus they probably have a whole other team working on this game while the primary team stays on titanic. Do not quote me on anything here.

I won't quote you on anything, but your comment didn't age well, I'm afraid. This separate 'game project' has been a huge time-consuming distraction for the THG team, and I believe it has now been discontinued, at least for the next couple of years. Let's hope the THG project will soon be finished and released as a sort of Titanic tour simulator aimed at the educational market, instead of trying to make a triple A/multiplatform game out of it for many more years and never deliver anything.

Looks pretty cool. When I see Britannic like this, and I’ve followed the story of these liners for decades, I discover I am feeling a deep sense of loss as I realise that both 401 and 433 never got to realise their full potential. Along with the loss of life, this saddens me. White Star didn’t deserve to lose these two beautiful new liners, especially one after the other, and all within the space of a few short years. Crazily, both offered damage in basically the same area, starboard side, forward, just behind the bow. On the flip side, these two are actually still with us whereas their long-serving sister has long ago passed into the pages of history, her own legend secure. The company however, was never the same after the loss of the second and third versions of the Olympic class. Loved the graphics in this. Bring it on, eager to see more.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "almost". True, they assembled a second team so they could work on this while also working full-speed on Titanic, but the Britannic game doesn't feature the entire ship. Last I heard, they were around 80% done with the Titanic model, which is _great,_ but that's still a way to go, and then they need to finish the _story_ and gameplay. I'm sure they're working on the story _while_ they work on the model, so I wouldn't expect the release to come _long_ after the model is done, but still.

I've never been on a modern cruise ship, so I can't say this with absolute certainty, but I feel like the Olympic class liners were some of the most beautiful ships ever built. The interior design and wood craftsmanship is just spectacular. I can't picture a modern ship being so fancy.

I am so hyped. Not only do we get to explore Britannic as both the hospital ship she was and the passenger liner she would have been, but we also get to experience her sinking. Makes me anticipate Titanic: Honor & Glory more than ever.

Just bought it and refunded after 30 min... This is such a let down, and tbh feels like a scam. This is no game.. you can explore a few areas without any form of interaction. Then you have the sinking sequence, where you can only stay outside on the deck, you can't enter the ship during the sinking. What a let down this "game"
