Excellent video and a very useful program for people to have! I went through all the steps and found some Malware/Spyware I didn't realize I had. I also used the Maintenance Actions and was able to clear up some issues I've been having. After a reboot, my PC is running much smoother and my internet connection is faster. Thanks!

umm about the browser locker thingy . I think you can remove it by: 1.Shut down your rooter. 2.Open your browser and change the homepage and stuff 3.Scan with Malwarebytes,Hitmanpro ect 4.Open up your rooter. 5.I think you're done. Hi Brian. Thank you for the info. I just watched Krusinovich video about sysinternals and his process explorer. This (UKV) piece of software seems to be easier to deal with, but Krusinovich's sysinternals are more in depth sort of. I'm going to compare them both with regards to efficiency and time. What do you think about combofix and d7 tool. BTW i think i heard you on podnutz. Great videos, Ta.

if an infected comp cannot go online and we run UVK on another (clean) computer, allowing it to update all its av functions, how do we then transfer the complete updated UVK to the offline infected comp? Is it that "save file as" box I saw fleetingly?

Sometimes browser is blocked, but you can still download files, zeroaccess blocks downloads. I would have to do more testing to give you the right answer when it comes to UVK. You could have all your tools on ketarin like me then problem is solved. I show how I set up my tools.

No, you can run all the selected programs and fixes before restarting the computer. The "Stop monitoring" button was added precisely to allow it. However, you should restart the computer as soon as possible.

A lot of these issues can be prevented by not using Java or Flashplayer... I do not use either in a Windows based system. Ever. They are useless 3rd party "apps". Other "apps" that you do not need at all: Itunes: That is correct. You do not need Itunes to interface with your Apple junk Anti-Virus: A smarter computer user knows how to maintain the system themselves and how to avoid issues.. And how to manually fix them. Internet Explorer: It is just useless and should be considered a virus since it behaves as a virus does. It replicates itself into registry, it collects data against the PC owners will and it attempts to take proprietary roles over the users choices of internet access..Windows or Mac OS/X: Just give Linux a try. Ubuntu is an easy way to get into it. For the average user. Linux more than covers you. I still use Windows for gaming, but that's it. But even that is changing as Steam has helped bring gaming to Linux and Linux to gaming!!! Linux FTW!!!:) In this day and age of fast access to knowledge. There is absolutely no reason for anybody to not be educated. If you want to learn how to do something. there are half a billion videos like this.. A little good effort really pays off in the long run people:) Love is life. Knowledge is power. Educate yourselves, the vast world is staring right at you. And take back your natural born right to be free from this system!!

No, you really do not. You need good script blockers and common sense when going to popular websites. like facebook.. Don't click the links or use most of the options. Just read the article or watch the video.. posting is automatically tagged and reviewed.. Then catalogued..
