I would say yes just to future proof it. You never know if you might use it in the future. It certainly won't hurt your system.

So should I set my IPV4 and IPV4 on my Ethernet to the same value as both 1? or should I put Ipv4 and 1 and ipv6 as 2?

Can you please make a video on how to route network traffic using the installed network cards? For example if a browser wants to access the internet, use card1. If an application wants to access an internal subnet, use card2.

I have a link on my desktop to the "Control Panel". Double click to open > Under "Network and Internet" click on "View network status and tasks" to open > click on "change adapter settings." This opens your "Network Connections" Just as you have... but in 3 clicks. Win 11 Pro. It's not that hard to get to them.
@di0__0ib2 күн бұрын
That command to open the network connections window is great! Thanks for pointing that out. Nice and fast to get there for me now! Off to find the other shortcut commands for other links in control center. If anybody has other useful ones like that, could you please drop them in the replies to me? Thanks in advance!

@@Britec09just thought of another thing. If we also use ipv6, should we give them priority numbers of 6 and up in this example? Or do we start over with 1 and up? Also noticed you skipped the Bluetooth adapter. Is it because it's basically worthless, or just not worth giving a higher priority? Thanks!
@normanwhite22272 күн бұрын
Just open Settings page and in Settings search box type Network Connections.

excuse my ignorance BUT will this help me if my PC is plugged into the Ethernet but I have my tv box is now, not cable, but WiFi connection and it keeps pausing even if I put a signal strength reader that shows it is a full strength in the next room? My wife is irritated that who "shows" keep cutting out. I have Download Mbps 807.54 - Upload Mbps 64.06...it is a digital cable box by a company called Mediacom Cable

Anyone else being denied ALL downloads by last weeks' W11 update? Even the despicable Edge is showing "Failed - virus scan failed" at the Windows download center. I was trying to install 11 on a used but supported computer with TPM2.0.....it's like MS wants me to go all Linux all the time and not just the lovely Zorin on my oldest rig. Seriously, to hell with MS.
