I like the revo uninstaller for the uninstall part because it remooves the registry entries and files plus it uninstalls edge now. Good tool though Brian. Thanks

Thats the one I use too. It can erase leftovers that the regular uninstaller leaves behind, but microsoft edge keeps reinstalling every like 3 days smh.

Bro deleted edge while me delete chrome for edge and im bing edging with it. Dont mind the merging and my experience is great with it. Wanting chrome over edge is a crime for me... the only one i would choose to install though might be firefox but edge windows integration does feels fine and good. Nothing more needed and perfect.

What would make this program much more useful is this: Since most of the work is already done in organizing and displaying all of these items, the author should create a recommend items button which will turn off all of the unnecessary services. There are lots of videos where the creator guides you through which items to turn off and it would be great to have a button or section of preset recommendations where you could click one button and turn them all off/on.

I've just clean installed win 11 on my machine, all prerequisites to install are present. I ran Win10 for ages and got to know it very well indeed. However on looking at Win 11 on my machine I'm scratching me head at how difficult it is to find certain settings. This Wintoys you made a video on should be a great help to me. Thank you so much. Hey Brian. Question. @4:40 you mention the "Distributive Link Tracking Client." Can or should that be turned off? It maintains links between NTFS files that both local and remote. TIA.

I like the videos from Brian. Although Powertoys looks easy. If you're not very familiar with adjusting Windows, a lot of Power toys options can leave you in doubt what to do. I think Chris Titus Winutil does the job for you and it does it very good. And you can remove MS Edge with it. 🤓

Revo uninstaller was a life saver for me. After patching Windows, I could not get VirtualBox Host adapter to work for all my guest clients no matter what I had tried. Using Revo to perform the uninstall of VirtualBox by cleaning up the registry for the app.

OSX does a good job burying things and ChromeOS inexplicably puts printing and scanning under another settings page that you can only get to by clicking on an unmarked area at the right corner of the screen - just be careful not to click on the clock, instead.

My Custom Windows 11s Dragon Designed for gaming. This is how it works, I have games on steam, but I run steam in the background I don't open it or use it directly I set desktop icons to my own library using fences I make this a dropdown box directly on my desktop I have each fence set to individual categories 4 categories in all c1 action adventure c2 platformer c3 sports c4 strategy puzzle. I add in my own side panel directly on the desktop that contains setting profile and graphics login all at user control. It's all very clean no clutter and the most important part I don't have apps all running in the background slowing down your PC the user is in full control. I'm using my own custom Version of Windows 11. Yes, it is lower latency achieved by removing autorun and adding side panel for manual control. Help 😢😢😢😢 Windows could not start the windows audio service on local computer. Error 126: The specified module could not be found. It's been 3 days extremely frustrated. Suddenly the audio service was out with a red cross ❌ mark on taskbar in the audio icon. Have tried so many fixes mentioned in many you tube but to no avail. One quick way in this very video is at 6:00. Just make sure "Background Apps" in Performance is toggled off. Also, in the Services area (be careful here), click on where it says "Running" and choose an option like third party. There is an option for Useless", but definitely go through that and don't just disable everything there.

Poke around inside Task Scheduler. You'd be surprised how many app load automatically and then want to check for updates every hour and more.

I have Norton telling me I have 14 outdated drivers. Windows is telling me I have the best drivers. Is there a tool that I can use to update my drivers and know they are current? Norton wants a healthy price to update drivers.

I have disabled device driver updates from windows updates and I only use the drivers from my motherboard site and from nvidia. U don't need automatic driver updates, the latest ones are not allways the best for your specific hardware. I have bought driver booster but I don't use it anymore.

I think this vid is more for the casual user who wouldn't know where to get programs elsewhere. They exist, I have a younger brother with 8 yrs difference between us and he didn't know what an .exe file was or that you could download them from websites, he grew up with app stores and launchers.
