Incredible that even a heavy aircraft like the 747, weighing over 300 tons and cruising at 950 km/hr, can still be so strongly buffeted by Mother Nature. Rest assured though that the 747 is a strong machine, validated by 50 years of constant flight. Engineering tests proved it is capable in the most severe turbulence of ‘flapping’ it’s wings, safely absorbing deflections of over 20 feet at the wingtip.

Hi, Noel. Can you hear the difference in the audio while on the train? At times, it's as if I'm closed in a capsule, and I don't even hear the echo and all the different bumps as well. Then, it'll open right up, and you can hear the echo and everything and anything else, because it went from monaural to binaural or narrow audio to wide-open audio or real sound. There's a huge difference, and it's that wide open sound, stereo sound you want. It's even better if you can livestream with the GoPro7 Black, since the built-in mic is already included. I really hope that helps. Thank you so much. Heather

1:06:51 I find these 747 400 aircraft to be satisfying. I went on one of these in United Airlines, on a flight from SFO to Beijing Capital. I noticed the call chime is quite different. Different patterns, and a slightly lower pitch. Instead of standard D5 B4 chime, it rings at B-flat 4 D flat five. That’s very interesting. I know, you’re like what are you talking about, well I’m actually a classical pianist and I have perfect pitch. those are the notes they are ringing at. Anyway, the idea is the chime on this plane is lower than the usual call chime. And if that was the seatbelt fasten, it’s usually just one ring, but I guess on this one it was multiple. That’s interesting. it was either that ATC was covering it or they didn’t do it for real but I didn’t hear them do it takeoff announcement.

The problem is that people cough and splutter warm chunks of tapeworm, cholera, botulism, dengue fever, parasitic pus, bubonic plague and other exotic nasties all over the perspex, and it eventually cakes up like a multi-storey petri dish. I've had ones with nearly 1cm of sprog mucus on them, and another had been used as a sort of catcher's glove for a major outbreak of boils that were fired at it. Some of these airliners are safer if you crash than stay airborne, truly. Don't get me started about the in-flight water dispensers, or the seat cushion either, as they compete with each other for most varied and distasteful livestock content. People think they've hit pay-dirt when they can lie across a few empty seats, but it's closer to dog dirt.
