what's wrong about the BA, have to paid for pre choose seat of business class! In Qantas, no pre choose seat charges except economy class.

Cool! Thanks as always for your video, and a special thanks for reviewing the flight that is practically my commute! I agree that the beds are very comfortable and the window seat privacy only adds to ease of sleep. FYI, The forward upstairs starboard business toilet has a window. BA Gold can choose their seats for free but I agree it's ridiculous that any passenger has to pay to choose seats in business. You really should have visited the Cathay Pacific lounge in SFO which is open for all BA286 departures. I agree with you on BA boarding - it sucks, even for First Class. On the a380 you can't close the privacy divider until the plane has reached 10,000 feet - on any other long-haul aircraft it can be closed as soon as the safety briefing has finished. And... I really like that albariño, I had it in flight last week. Thanks again for your video!

It looked as if you were seated backwards. They should turn off the lights inside the plane so we can see outside. Everyone knows when you have the lights on inside the house or plane, everything seen inside reflects off the window. That's why it's hard to see outside. I guess cameras have no acceptation in seeing everything inside reflect off the window when it's dark outside. That's why I'd ask them to turn off the lights. Another reason why I call lights out on a night flight is so everyone can relax, sleep, watch movies, or listen to music.

Well as far as GoPros that would be a transition to a new take on your videos. On the normal ones with that range you can easily get a DSLR but that would be bulky. Many vlogers use the Canon G7X Mark II, but if you research a bit you can get a high quality camera for less than $500

Be glad you have a camera. I film my trip reports on my iPhone. Check out my trip reports to see if they camera quality is any better (or worse). Also, $109 just to pick your seat? That's a bit much...

Come over to One World from the dark side then you will get choice of seat for free :)...the A380 is nice but I lately go for the 747 flight..the lounge at SFO is super cramped and substandard all in all but if you take the 747 flight you board straight from the lounge and the process is very organized...plus nothing beats the service on the upper deck of the 747 - I find the cabin crew on the A380 are trying to deal with too many people and seemed rushed. Agree the seating arrangement is a little awkward but I think that is the most comfortable seat out there...did you go for the diet plate or something? why no appetizer?

As you know I'm not a fan of BA ..and i find it disgusting BA charge such a huge amount of money for a preselected business class seat for someone who is not a high tier member of their Executive club...im not sure about high tier One World members getting it cheaper or free but I'm quite certain that someone will tell me in a comment. When it comes to making changes for the worse BA definitely lead the way for scheduled airlines. Jacob do you still fly United after that brutal assault incident? Hope you are fit and well.

Thanks, Mark. Yes, I really liked the BA sleeper. It was just so comfortable. And the hour of departure is awesome. You leave at 7:30m, so you finish dinner around 10pm. Just perfect sleep time from California, and you arrive totally fresh in Europe. It's just amazing. However, the $109 to select your seat just bites. I stil fly UA since we are a captive audience here in SFO. It would be painful to devote loyalty to another airline, unfortunately. Take care.

109 USD to select a seat?? Is one auto assigned if you don't or are you able to select one during the online check in? I remain unimpressed with this seat but I've never tried it. My favorite J seat is currently the Oman Air configuration.

High Flyer Yes there is free seat selection on online check in....but you're going to get aisle seat with absolutely no privacy what so ever. I like Omans as well Japanese Airlines has the same type...Qatar and Delta's brand new business class suites are awesome.
