Wow great!! Long live the physical library spaces and its readers forever. Nothing like reading an interesting book in a clean library. Missing their library space of 90s though..much bigger and many more books journals and magazines CD and even those LP records. This one is more compact and modern with maker space..and so much natural light.

i used to Go BCL Pune everyday for 2 years, when it was in FC road, Pan aata time ch nai Bhetat :( nice memories of this place

Since you are from Pune do you miss Mannys ? it was my favorite bookstore growing up in the 80s , sadly its closed !!! the only place i buy books from now a days is a shop on east street near georges.

Wow! massive literary infrastructure set up by the Brits to promote and spread their culture, tradition, ideology and also their agenda! into the community.....to get the people hooked! at the school level itself ...Hoping India promotes it's own fascinating and incredible interests in a similar manner in other countries too. Please do a video on your recommendation of books to be read out to kids less than 3-4 years by parents...and the best books to give to children for reading when they just begin to read...like 5 to 8 years age group..there are so many books for kids these days that picking the most exciting ones is difficult. Especially for a parent like me who regrettably is not much into reading.

I am truly in love with this library! Did visit once and am planning to join very soon. But why is there a complete scarcity of good libraries in Pune. Like I don't want books I also need a great place to read these books. Really sad.
