The big company ads during the Super Bowl can cost millions of dollars. Those are seen nation wide. But depending on where you are in the country there are local ads put out by tv stations from smaller companies in that area from where you're watching it from. I had a friend who owned a smallish car dealership in Rockford, Illinois who bought a 15 second ad to be aired during the Super Bowl. The cost of the commercial plus the cost of it being aired at that time ended up being $250,000. For a 15 second commercial. But his car sales went up hugely after that aired! He had one dealership at that time and now he has 4 in two different states. He said it was because of that ad. Love your channel! Love when you both react!

Wayne's World began as a Saturday Night Live skit then evolved into a movie (and sequel). Wayne Campbell is portrayed by Mike Myers who is better known from the Austin Powers and Shrek franchises. Dana Carvey portrays Garth Algar. Mr. Carvey is also notable for his SNL character "The Church Lady". Wayne and Garth were teenager-ish / early 20s characters who had a cable access program that was taped in their parents' basement and always invited high-profile guests (i.e. Madonna) to be on their low-budget show.

But since it is a government entity they are forbidden to show "commercials" (ads)...but usually the commercials are collected and viewed on KZbin or Facebook.

I am a person who usually just tunes out on ads or commercials that show up on TV, but when it comes to the Super Bowl commercials I will watch those as they usually are pretty good and in many cases quite funny or entertaining in and of themselves. Those Super Bowl commercial slots are some of the most prized air time for any company. You are talking an audience of millions of viewers will be potentially seeing your ad. As has been said these commercials cost around $5Million alone just for that 30 second slot and that is not including the cost of making the actual commercial which is usually quite high alone for these, sometimes in the millions of dollars for a single ad....those companies pull out all stops on a Super Bowl commercial.

I just looked up the cost and the station that carried the super bowl charged $6 million dollars for every 30 seconds…last year’s station charged $5.5 million for every 30 seconds. So if you are running a minute commercial that’s $12 million dollars, plus the cost of the commercial itself. So next year’s station could charge up to $7 million or more for every 30 seconds.
