Oh I agree ☝️ sooo much with your comment @doreenevans5945. I can’t believe how many times she has threatened him and lied 🤥 to, and browbeaten her husband and poisoned the little girl’s mind about her father. And, I’m not sure 🤔 but I don’t think they have the right to keep Jack from seeing his father whenever he has the chance to get to know him better. He is 16 years old and I think that was pointed out to them. I’ve been reading the comments and I think that I nearly started to read one ☝️ that would definitely 👍🏻 be a spoiler so I need to be more careful. 😱😱😱🫢🫢🫢😲😲😲

I have seen Lee Ingleby in so many roles and he is always spot-on with his portrayals, to the degree that you can’t imagine anyone else in that role. The level of intensity that he brings to David Collins in this drama is amazing! Excellent series. My second time viewing it and I rarely like to see any series twice!

This is the second production I've seen with Ingleby. In George Gently as his sidekick, and this series. I looked closely, because as DS John Bachus I found him incredibly irritating. Always stressed, rude, agressive and impatient. At first I thought this role would be different. But he still has that same impatient behaviour, the same agression and the same revenge seeking mind. Not impressed, therefore. Maybe I should watch more of him. This could be by accident. Maybe the castingdirector needed that same personality...🤔

@s.d.3492 My issue with the knot and Alice is that they were revealed as suspects too early on. They'd be too obvious. David's brother, however, is trying too hard to appear like a good guy, but there's definitely something really fishy about him. As I said, he was the only one who knew for sure that David didn't kill his wife while everyone else believed him to be the killer.
