Today we visit Trader Joes for the first time! As a British family that is used to UK shopping, this was quite the experience as we see if we can get any good US deals and try to navigate Trader Joes with no budget and find some good vegan food!
We do some US and UK food grocery price comparisons, check out the vegan food options in Trader Joes, and come back with a nice US food grocery shopping haul!

Trader Joes wasn't founded by one of the Aldi brothers... The two Aldi brother split up in 1960 on a dispute on selling Cigarettes... This split created Aldi Sud (That Aldi US/UK is owned by) and Aldi Nord(That Trader Joes is owned by). Trader Joes was founded by Joe Coulombe in 1958 and Aldi Nord brought Trader Joes in 1979.

There is actually two shops called Aldi. Aldi Sud and Aldi Nord. The Aldi we have in the UK is Aldi Sud which operates under the name Aldi in the US. We don't have Aldi Nord in the UK. Some countries have both like Spain and Germany so if you see two Aldi stores with different logos that why

News flash, Trader Joe’s is actually One of Aldi’s store, which originates in Germany.

I find absolutely amazing I'm 54 years old lived in America all my life I've never been in traders Joe's I never seen the inside I thought trader Joe's was a high end clothing store up until this video I had no idea its a supermarket. What's really crazy is a British family has been inside and shopped at this store. Me up until now I really thought it was a clothing store like a high end old navy. Ugh. Be safe guys. Take Care

You take the Soyrizo (vegetable chorizo) and heat it in a frying pan, then add a few eggs and mix and scramble with the soyrizo, microwave a flour tortilla with cheese in it, and then roll a great breakfast burrito with it. So good. 👍

Trader Joe’s at Christmas has the most amazing unique and fabulous foods . Jingle Jangle and other yummy things. I always fill my cart. Personal favorite year round is in the frozen section, black bean taquitos.

I'm so happy you were able to go to Trader Joe's. It's one of my favorites. Great for a quick meals on the go too. Their meatless orange chicken in the frozen section is so good just wish it was a bigger bag. Great over rice. They have so many great items and they always have new seasonal items coming in. I'm real happy you got their tote bags and a cooler, their great to have. Would love to know which items you liked when you have a chance to try them. 🤗 Jojo your dancing always makes me smile ☺️

Cook up some of the chorizo, then add in eggs and make a burrito out of it. You can add cooked sausage, bacon, cheese, taco sauce....etc. 😀 The chorizo is cooked like minced hamburger, just a few minutes and it is done.

Thanks to you I'll have to check this out. I have heard about this chain forever but I was thinking the nearest one was like 2 hours away but apparently we've had one in our town since 2011. They decorate them based on the state they are in. If you came up here where I live you'd get totally different bags.

I live in Louisville, KY, home of the Kentucky Derby, and the Louisville Slugger baseball bat. Apparently our Trader Joe's has murals of famous places and attractions in and around town. The bags have things like images representing bluegrass music and our state bird, etc.

America like Japan etc have a lot of weird exciting products 😄 would be nice if you did a video on all the weird food products you find canned etc (pickle pops to keep cool on a hot summer's day 😢).
