They've just recently (i think they're still building it) are making an EVEN BIGGER one here in Texas to be the biggest, after a new one in another state is about to open the biggest (Texas wasn't having it lol). The one in this video is the current biggest (opened) which is in New Braunfels, Texas. Its a city between San Antonio and Austin, Texas. The new one is going to be in Luling, Texas. Which is right next to Austin. It's going to be 75,000 sq. ft.

Yea. Some of us truckers (at least in the US) stay in hotels because the company they contract for has a legal requirement to park in a safe area. Truck-friendly hotels often have security that watch the trailer and the driver gets a stipend from the company to pay for the hotel. Same. Goes for oversize loads that don't fit into truck stops or can't easily turn off the highway. They will park at a weigh station or special rest area and one of the chase vehicles carries their gear and takes the crew to a nearby hotel for the night.

At just under 67,000 sq feet sitting on 18 acres, I would say as gas stations/convenience stores go it's a world record holder. With everything you need at a gas station in abundance, including 80 soda fountains, 60 gas pumps, 31 cash registers, 1,000 parking spaces and has 250 employees working for them. However, that is pocket change compared with the worlds largest truck stop. The I-80 truck stop is just over 100,000 sq feet sitting on 225 acres of which 75 is developed. There are 42 gas pumps, 16 dedicated diesel lanes (one of which allows for oversized loads), and recently added two universal EV charging stations. Parking spaces include 900 dedicated Semi-truck, 250 autos and 20 dedicated Bus spaces. There is also a convenience store, The Iowa 80 Kitchen, a 300-seat restaurant: gift store, a Food Court featuring Wendy’s (open 24 hours), Dairy Queen, Orange Julius, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Caribou Coffee, Blimpie Deli, and Einstein Bros. Bagels. There is also a 60-seat movie theatre, a trucker’s TV lounge, 24 private showers, a workout room, laundry facilities, and the Super Truck Showroom. As well as a dentist, a barber shop, a chiropractor, a fuel center, a 7-bay truck service center, a 3-bay Truck'o'mat truck wash, a CAT Scale, a custom embroidery and vinyl shop, a Dog'o'mat Pet Wash, and the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum. All kept in order with over 450 employees serving over 5,000 customers daily.

Food made in a gas station is so common now it's odd when you see one that doesn't. ArrowMart (RIP) did not except for the Subway that was in every single one. But 7-11 has hotdogs and pizza made in store. Pizzas are frozen ones they just put in the oven but are delicious, better than most pizzerias. Now ArrowMart has been taken over by Crosby's which came from Pennsylvania, they do pizza, and other food plus inherited the Subways in the buildings.
