Fair enough if you don’t like the bloke that’s your right but if there’s someone that I don’t like,and they’re on a KZbin video, then I don’t watch it. I don’t like him or hate him because I don’t know him. I know that I wouldn’t even entertain watching anything that people I hate have made or appeared on though!! I’d rather spend my time on KZbin watching something I like!!

I am no gangster myself, so only from an outsiders prospective, Berni comes across as being honest.A least he stood up for his beliefs, and was loyal to those he respected. As far as I am aware he tried to help out when Leah Betts died from the dodgy tablet. He was already disillusioned with the out of control tucker and Tate who would rob there granny for a hit. I am from Belfast and I know one truth about Berni,when the heavy shit kicked of here,Berni was in there head first taking on a gang of rioters. Even the serious players here recognise he had balls of Steele.

I'm not a criminal or a gangster or have friends in high places and in low places. But I do think that if you had any involvement in making money from serious crime, then you would be sensible to make as much money as you can in as short a time as possible. Then you get away from anything that could end up with you going to prison for a long time or that could end up with you losing all of the money that you risked a lot for. You think carefully about how you can use the money to give you a good income, you would cut off your links from people who could cause you trouble and try to live a new and normal life. So anyone who actually tries to portray themselves as being a big time gangster is probably a failed gangster, those who are always dropping the names of other 'celebrity gangsters' and going to the funerals and weddings of people who they probably didn't even know or like, just to pose with a mohair suit and waxed hair combed back, wearing shades in November and wearing a fake bullet proof vest (but trying to look as if you don't want people to notice). For example, we've all heard of Dale Cregan with his hand grenades and his murders, but what about the leader of the Chinese or Thai gang in Thailand who Dale Cregan offered out, but ended up with Cregan on the floor twisting him up, and who then decided to show him how the local gangsters do things, by taking his eye out in cold blood with a pointed ring. Dale Cregan was obviously a dangerous man, but he didn't go far in life, he acted almost like how he thought gangsters were supposed to be like. But the Chinese or Thai bloke who saw right through Dale Cregan and taught him a lesson that he would never forget, he is unknown, but that's probably the way he wants things to be, and I bet he has a lot more money and a lot brighter future than Dale Cregan now has... That's how you expect real gang leaders to be like, money makers and only being ruthless when they have to be, instead of dressing and acting like a Hollywood gangster. (Around 24:00 minutes Bernard O'Mahoney says exactly the same thing).

@Ryancontact1

I agree with what you've said about Cregan but once you've entered that life, there's no leaving unless it's in a box or witness protection. To get to a certain level you have to do a lot of dirty work that can easily catch up on you. If you tried to leave the life you'd be constantly looking over your shoulder or waiting for a gunman to come knocking. Whether it's ordered by an enemy or a former associate. I belive you can retire so to speak once your fully established and can hand the reigns down to somebody else in your organization but there's no getting up and leaving while your ahead it's not that easy..
@joeberesford5015

The problem is, that you have to have a reputation to make any money from criminality. You can't just make money by yourself without any contacts or criminal associates. So you have to have a rep. And if you have a rep, people will be out to get you, because you can't go to the police because you're a criminal... There's no way to avoid violence in the underworld... That's why it's a shite decision to enter it.

Simon Yip is that’s how Cregan lost his eye how do you know that mate?.i did hear he lost it in Thailand but wasn’t sure how?
@simonyip5978
@simonyip5978 4 жыл бұрын
@@jonbailey8072 he said that he was beaten by the Thai police, but apparently people who were there said that it was either a Thai gangster (or a Chinese gangster who lived in Thailand) who took one of his eyes out, during a fight that he started. It sounded more embarrassing to admit that he was done over by a criminal, so he spreaded the story of the police doing it, while he was in handcuffs. He never tried to sue the Thai police for brutality or complained about the police blinding him and he wasn't even arrested in Thailand apparently, and people who were in a position to know what really happened usually say that it was someone in the local crime scene who didn't like the way that he was behaving. Obviously I don't know exactly what happened but the story that he told people is supposed to be untrue, and it was a gang member who blinded him from what I've heard about the case

It seems to me everyone was still terrified of the Krays even when they were locked up, Bernard says he pulled away from Reggie once he new he liked boys, don't tell me you never new about it before you met him, everyone fucking knows Reggie and Ronnie liked boys, it's well documented, and has Dave courtney admits, he was there arms and legs for 15 years before they died. On top of them liking boys they also took there whole firm down with them which was completely unnecessary and against the gangsters moral code, and yet Dave and Bernard still couldn't do enough for them, and you can bet your life the Krays never paid them fuck all, weird.
@Ryancontact1
@Ryancontact1 4 жыл бұрын
@J. Dallison nonsense, richardsons went up against the krays. Even most of the kray firm admit the richardsons were stronger and made more money than they did. Remember George Cornell used to bully the Krays and call Ron a fat puff before Ron finally had enough and smoked him. Obviously they couldn't of been took very serious by the richardaon gang. Eddie said they would read magazines and idolize being gangsters. While they were fucking underage boys with lord boothby charlie richardson was in africa investing in the diamond industry. I'm not saying they weren't dangerous psychopayhs who wouldn't think twice to kill you but they were hardly the sharpest tools in the shed. I wouldn't put them up there with organised crime bosses like the Adams crime family, the hunt's, kinahan's etc who operate internationally. You'd have to class the Krays as celebrity gangsters like dave courtney. They done a bit of extortion and murdered a few people but there's plenty of murderers in the crime world.

your right there, he knew like everyone did but did lots for them, lots more than he admits to ! Went on for a long time and used them as much, if not more than they did him as all his "fame" and old faces he met were through the Krays near enough ! Using fucker it seems after all this time, he seems to have changed his tune about Steele and Whomes too which I find wrong and odd as they are still behind bars for x3 murders that really helped old BOM out in the long run, a few books and loads of documentaries etc I think he should make a point of stating the fact that he knows it was not them as he has said before . If he knew it was not them for a fact why would he now change his tune of old ??

I just have an interest in reading about crime, I'm not a fan, but it seems to me no one tried it on with the krays, and thats on the outside and also when they were banged up, Freddie Forman was feared and had his own firm and yet he was willing to kill someone for them and get rid of a body for them, Freddie was a successful business man with a good family, why would he risk doing life for them twice if he wasn't scared of them, surely it would be easier to say, ' sorry Ron, can't do that I'm afraid, you'll have to get someone else" . I've never read any stories about the Krays being beaten up or humiliated, the only two guys that took libertys with them ended up dead, I'm not saying there wasn't bigger firms out there at the time, but I do think other firms would tread carefully around them. This is only my opinion from what I read about them

Lol…you know who I know? Does he know who I know? I’d happily stand in front of him and tell him exactly what is thought of him. From what I understand, he’d have no trouble hitting a woman….. but he don’t know who I know. 😉 I’m just pulling your leg. I think he knows most people don’t think much of him. It’s fairly obvious by any comment section attached to his videos. I do think he’s sponged off of the death of the three men he claims were “friends” and I don’t agree with it.

Goes to stay in hotel in Rettendon because hes scared of the essex boys the very night they are murdered and arrives at said hotel around an hour before the shootings,what did he do after that ? ,a few days after the murder visits the scene to "see where his FRIENDS were killed" and finds the missing gun cartridge,way back by the gate ,didnt think they could discharge from a gun for that distance ,says he threw it in a field because his prints were on it ...or did he keep it as a trophy? Killers like to do that..because when he went back with the police to show them the cartridge it had magically gone ,does a total about face as to the guilt of steele and Whomes,is scared of the essex boys because they know he gave an E pill to the police to test,motive enough to get in there and kill them before they kill him ? I think so
