We love Jokić and his whole family out here in Denver, CO. He brought us our first NBA Championship. The Nuggets went 16-4 in the entire playoff run to the trophy. 🏆 Jokić was Finals MVP and SHOULD have been the 2022/2023 season MVP, but the league was afraid of giving it to the same guy three years in a row. That’s alright; he brought us the trophy instead. We all know Jokić was the true 2022/2023 season MVP.

From the earliest basketball videos to now it's amazing to see Luka's growth and understanding of the game. Around the 5:30 mark, he understands how due to his passing, Jokic is able to increase the team's odds of scoring, and how he is unselfish. This kind of self-analysis wouldn't have happened three months ago, and Luka's increased understanding and appreciation of the sport is just so heartwarming.

I go to a few Nuggets games each season. Jokic is a magician and an absolute treat to watch. If you aren't getting those sick passes, he'll be racking up points down low with his elite touch around the rim. Another Denver sports superstar you need to check out is Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche (National Hockey League). He's extremely "rapid" on the ice. His stickhandling is unreal. The fact that he does get himself into great scoring position and is still looking to pass first is something that can annoy some nuggets fans since we know he’s even more dominant when he’s aggressively looking to score too. It just gives the defense even more to think about but over the years he’s evolved to get a better balance of passing and shooting

Your pure athlete read is correct, the man is quoted as saying the worst part of being a pro basketball player is being famous, the guy doesnt have a twitter account while being the reigning mvp, on the road to a potential two in a row, he just wants to play basketball, ride horses, and have a good time it seems.

In all fairness to Jokic that video is a couple of years old and he's only getting smarter with his defense. It's too early to tell but it is being said that he has slimmed down and toned up a lot during this quarantine so it will be very interesting to see if he plays more athletically. Very excited for these weird Quarantine Playoffs because if Nikola Jokic has become athletic than the Nuggets just got a whole lot scarier.

Yeah he’s struggled to find the perfect balance with his aggressiveness scoring vs passing. When he’s a threat in both areas it just makes it that much tougher on the defense but he still has games taking only 2 or 3 shots.
